  • Longer Ball Mount that Fits 1-1/4 inch Trailer Hitch
A longer ball mount would be a decent idea I would think but since its going to be a Class II 1-1/4 inch ball there aren't super long options. Mostly everything will be about same length with some variations. If you can determine the rise/drop you need I can let you know what longest option would be.

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon, Outback Model
After doing a little searching I was able to determine that Curt trailer hitch # C12284 will fit a 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon, Including Outback Wagons. None of the other hitches are confirmed to fit. The correct ball mount to use is # C45519. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For a trailer wiring harness use # 118461.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness for 2014 Subaru Forester
When I put your 2014 Subaru Forester into our fit guide I did not get the same results you did. I get the # C13144 for a 2 inch receiver option and # C12100 as a 1-1/4 inch option. I get the same options when I type this into Curt's fit guide. I'm not sure if we had a glitch or what, but I am confident that either of these hitches I referenced will work well for you. The # C111813 is not a fit for your vehicle and is only a fit for 1993-2002 Toyota Corolla and Geo/Chevy Prizm models....

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 1990 Subaru Legacy Wagon
I checked with Curt and trailer hitch # C12270 fits all models of the 1990 Subaru Legacy including the wagon (even though the instructions state sedan, see link). Ball mount # C45519 is recommend for this hitch. Along with the pin and clip # F-4. . For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring you can use # C59496 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.

  • What is the Towing Capacity of a 2007 to 2010 Mini Cooper S
The only information I could find on the towing capacity of the Mini Cooper was on the base model (using 2008 as the model year) and that was on MSN Autos. I checked an online copy of the owners manual and cannot confirm the capacity of any models. What I did find for a 2008 base model was a towing capacity of 1,433 pounds. However you will need to speak with a Mini dealer/technician to determine the vehicles capacity as equipped. The Curt trailer hitch # C11130 has a capacity of 2,000...

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 1999 Subaru Outback
For your 1999 Subaru Outback Wagon you would want the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12270. I checked with Curt and this is the only hitch we offer that would be confirmed to fit your vehicle. For a ball mount you would want part # C45519, for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball part # C40001, 2 inch hitch ball # C40018.

The Curt Class I Receiver Hitch, # C11272, does indeed fit the 2013 Mini Cooper Hardtop with single exhaust, excluding the S Series and Works. I have attached the installation instructions for you. As you will see in the final steps the bumper will have to be trimmed in order to access the hitch receiver. I have also attached a picture pointing out this location. Curt does require the use of Support Straps, # 18050, for all non-trailer loads including bike racks, cargo carriers and so...

The Curt class I hitch you' mentioned, part # C11272 will fit your 2013 Mini Cooper hardtop as long as it isn't a specialty model like the S series or John Cooper Works. I can not only confirm that you'll be able to retain your spare tire, I can prove it with a photo from the installation instructions showing the hitch installed and the spare tire still in place. Per the instructions, you might need to reposition the tire slightly, but you'll still be able to carry it under the rear of...

  • Can Heat Shield on 2015 Subaru Forester be Trimmed and Left On Using Curt Class II Trailer Hitch
Though the instructions call for the removal of the heat shield for Curt hitch # C12100 it is up to you whether or not you want to trim it or not. So yes, you could trim the heat shield if you wanted to on your 2015 Subaru Forester. If you go with this Curt hitch and you will be using it for a bike rack or a cargo carrier then Curt requires the use of stabilization strap # 18050. • Trailer Hitch and Wiring Fits for 2003 Subaru Legacy Brighton Wagon
In reference to the 2003 Subaru Legacy, the term "Brighton" refers to a trim level for the Legacy that was offered in the U.S. We do offer two options in a 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch for both the sedan and wagon versions, both of which are shown on the linked page, Draw-Tite # 36284 and Curt # C12270. • Installing a Trailer Hitch on a 1993 Subaru Legacy
You will at the very least need a 1/2 inch wrench and a torque wrench that is good for 110 foot pounds. It is important to get the bolts to the proper torque rating. If they are too loose you could lose the hitch. Too tight and you could damage the hitch or your 1993 Subaru Legacy. Most auto parts stores can loan out any tools you might need. You should not have to have the car on a lift to install it. lying on the ground would likely be fine. Some people who want more space would jack...

My fit guides show that your vehicle uses the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, item # 36061, in the rise position only. You would not be able to use this draw bar in the drop position. The manufacturer of the hitch does safety testing that puts the drawbar and ball in the best position, in case of an accident, and we cannot recommend using a draw bar in a different position or with a different rise or drop. We have an FAQ on hitch Classes for you to review, see link. The Draw-Tite Ball Mount, item...
