Will this fit my 2005 subaru legacy outback wagon? What else will I need to complete the hitch kit ball, wiring etc that are specific to this hitch? Someone on the subaru forum said you gave them the wrong wiring for the hitch they ordered wrong year model. I would like to make sure you give me specific information for my car as listed above. Thanks!

After doing a little searching I was able to determine that Curt trailer hitch # C12284 will fit a 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon, Including Outback Wagons. None of the other hitches are confirmed to fit. The correct ball mount to use is # C45519. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.
For a trailer wiring harness use # 118461.
