Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this CURT replacement head. Now this is gonna replace the head for your 10,000 pound gross towing weight, CURT TruTrack Weight Distribution System with sway control. This is a direct replacement from CURT so you can trust. It's gonna be exactly like the original. No worries about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that.
This does not include the hitch ball or the arms or any of the hardware to get it mounted onto your shank and so it is just going to be the head unit. You can purchase other replacement components if you need to or you can just reuse any fully functioning component from your original setup because this is gonna fit right in place of that original head. Everything is gonna still work with it. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.

My original head was damaged, I contacted etrailer for possible warranty but they did not carry those parts from Curt and suggested I called Curt as it had a 10 year warranty. Unfortunately Curt could not provide me the internal parts. etrailer customer rep write up a good piece from our communication and suggested what part I would need to replace the head instead of buying the whole hitch. This is the part I ordered, it’s looks great so far as I’ve only took it out of the packaging to indirect. I am installing it today! I also ordered the L brackets that bolt onto the trailer frame that the stabilizers connect, they are wear item, they look good too after inspection.

Unit was delivered a day early, and was reboxed by shipper as original box has torn, they placed the old box and unit into a new box, cut the shipping label off and attached it to the new box. I'd say they went the extra mile to deliver the package. Great Job
Part was delivered very quickly. It was exactly as describe and pretty much brand new condition. I’m very please with my purchase.

It’s been about a year, no issues with the parts and running strong. Highly recommend if you need these parts or needing to contact etrailer customer service.
