Question:
I purchased a small toy hauler to pull behind my 2019 Ford ranger. It came with the Curt Weight distribution Hitch Item # C17507. But I want to tow this trailer behind my 2020 F250 and utilize the weight distribution system. But the F250 is way taller than the Ranger so I would need a shank that drops down lower. Is there a way to purchase a replacement head, shank and hardware to do this or do I need to purchase the whole setup? Also my F250 has a 2 1/2inch receiver and Ranger is 2.

We have replacement drop shanks that you could use with your Curt system that would give you the drop you are wanting with the part # EQ94FR which can do a drop of up to 9 inches and was designed to fit a 2-1/2 inch hitch.
This would be only component you'd need to go with to give you the additional drop you need and is compatible with both your Curt WD system and your 2-1/2 inch hitch.
