Video Transcript for Review of etrailer Trailer Bearings Races Seals Caps - Bearing Kit - BK3-210

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this bearing kit for 7,000 pound axles that have the 2.125 inch spindles. Now, a 7,000 pound axles gonna come in two different application. It's gonna come in one with a 2.125 grease seal, or also with a 2.250 grease seal. The bearings will all be the same. It's the grease seal that's gonna be different.

Now the correct bearing kit for that 7,000 pound axle is gonna be determined by that inner diameter needed for your grease seal. This kit here is for the 7,000 pound axle that uses the 2.125 inch diameter grease seal. Now, if you do need the kit, that works on the larger 2.250 diameter grease seal axle, it is sold separately. It goes by part number of BK3-200. Now what's nice with a kit like this, there's no need to have to search for separate components.

All you need is this all-inclusive bearing kit. It will include everything laid out here on the table. Comes with one inner bearing and the bearing race that that bearing will sit in. Comes with a outer bearing and the bearing race for the outer bearing to sit in. Comes with the double lip grease seal we mentioned.

On this one, it's gonna be the 2.125 inch diameter grease seal, and that is stamped right here in the part number. And it is a double lip seal. If you feel the rubber seal, you can feel the two edges. Comes with the cotter pin and the EZ Lube spindle washer. Now if you do need the part number for all these parts, they are located on the product page of this part number.

And this assembly is designed to save you time and ensure that you's got everything you need for proper installation. This kit here is designed to work seamlessly with EZ Lube systems. It allows straightforward maintenance, reducing downtime, and keeping a trailer in top condition. And this bearing kit is a versatile solution, compatible with popular brands like Lippert and Dexter axles. But that's gonna do it for a look at the bearing kit for 7,000 pound axles with the 2.125 inch spindles.

Product was delivered and was as ordered. I did not use it yet and am glad to keep it on hand for when needed. Ordering was easy and site was easy to navigate. A minor disappointment was that I thought the delivery took several days longer than I had anticipated. I guess we are getting spoiled by other online retailer's 2-day free delivery. Delay was not really an issue and only a minor annoyance. I like ordering from etrailer and will definitely order from them again.

by:

Bearings were delivered as projected, all bearings and part were in good condition and working order. Price seemed reasonable and I have no issues with anything, E Trailer did well!

Once we found the correct seal everything went well. Fast delivery and correct parts. I don't understand what the washer with the tab on it is? I would order from you again and would also recommend you to others.

It is a tang washer for EZ-Lube spindles. It is used in place of the cotter pin to keep the castle nut from backing off.

The washer with the tab is one option for locking the castle nut. Once the nut is tight, you would pry up the tab and flatten it against one flat of the nut.

Have ordered from etrailer before and everything was as expected. This is the first time ordering seals & bearings from etrailer. The BK3-210 bearing kits arrived promptly and appear to be in good condition. I ordered this kit for use as spare parts in case of a bearing failure while on the road. I was surprised that the seals and particularly the bearings were not in individually wrapped and sealed packaging; simply packed together in the shipping box. I don't recall ever purchasing bearings or seals that were not wrapped & sealed individually.
etrailer offers great prices and quick delivery, I'm just not particularly comfortable with the lack of individual packaging of these seals & bearings.

After 1000s of miles on the bearings, everything is great! Thanks for reaching out to me.

I ordered 4 wheel bearing kits for my camper. 3 of the four kits where missing parts. Two of the kits where missing the small bearing and one kit was missing the cotter pin. Your office was made aware and I'm waiting on a response.

I do see that we are working on getting those out for you. You will see it shipping out to you soon.

I placed an order for wheel betting’s for my trailer. In doing so, it appeared the order did not go through, so I placed it again. After a bit I got notified both orders went through. I immediately went back to Manage my order and cancel the second order. Thinking all was good, but checking my phone a couple hours later I found an email to confirm my cancellation which was only active gor 20 minutes. I tried to confirm then but could not and both orders were shipped. I call customer service and they said I had to pay $xx to return ship the 2nd order!! I buy numerous items from trailer and believe your policy after cancellation to then confirm is wrong! Believe me this will be my last order with Etrailer! Plenty of other places to buy the products I need for my trailer!!!!

by:

I will admit to checking [another website] first for this bearing kit. For everything, minus the cotter pin and nut holder, the price was double and needed to be ordered separately from different vendors. The only difference was shipping speed. The etrailer site, customer service and product quality is way above everyone else I've dealt with. I guess I just need to remind myself of that every once in a while. These bearings, races and accessories are heavy duty and appear to be of excellent quality. No issues with fitment.

by:

Everything fit perfect and the price was great. The only thing that would make it better is if you came here and installed it for me LOL. Best site to order from bar none.
thank you
Scott

Very good transaction all round. The description given in their ad matched our faint numbers perfectly. Every bearings and accessory items in the kit fit our 7,000 lb. axles. Thanks to a very much appreciated upgrade; delivery was almost instantaneous. Communication was more than outstanding. All we can be critical of would be not being able to pay with PayPal.

wrong brgs and seals returned wentzville mo 630 9-73 easy return went very well. all outher parts order fit perfect with a good quality good company to deal with a five star rating .

by:

Received all that I ordered and installed without issues. However I did have to get a race installer for the inside bearing race as the kit purchased was not for that size. I wish someone from etrailer would have called to double check if those were the correct ones I needed.

by:

What can I say? It’s a bearing kit. All parts were there and in perfect condition. I did however order the wrong size so they will be going back.

I’m pleased with the kit. I think it would be great if it came with a new hub nut in the kit though!

by:

Good bearings fit perfectly.

by:

RV parts were easy to order shipped quickly and delivered on time. Thanks each trailer.

by:

  • Bearings and Races for 7,000 Pound Trailer Axle
The most common bearings and seals for a 7,000 pound axle are # 25580 inner bearing, # 14125A outer bearing, # 25520 inner race and # 14276 outer race. The grease seal can vary, and will usually either be the # GS-2250DL, which has a 2.250 inch inner diameter and 3.376 outer diameter, or # GS2125DL with a 2.125 inch inner diameter and 3.376 inch outer diameter. We do also offer complete bearing kits for this axle. For the GS-2250DL grease seal, you can use the Kit # BK3-200. For the #...

  • Need Wheel Bearing Kit For Dexter 7,000 lb Axle
Hey Ethan, thanks for reaching out. The correct bearing and seal kit for your Dexter 7,000 lb axles is going to be either the Bearing Kit part # BK3-210 which has a 2.125" seal or the Bearing Kit part # BK3-200 which has a 2.250" seal. This axle could have come with either size, so I suggest you pull a hub and measure the spindle where the seal rides, or just pull a seal and measure it to confirm. The other option is to just get one bearing kit and order the other seal; 2.250" part #...

These both come with bearings and seals as well. For brake assemblies you'd want the part # 23-47 for the left hand side and # 23-48 for the right hand side and you'd be set. I attached a help article link on adding electric brakes to a trailer for you to check out as well that I think you'll find...

  • Looking for Bearing Kit that Fits MORryde 7k Trailer Axle
Hey Randy, so one of the great trailer replacement part mysteries is what grease seal a 7k trailer axle will use. Sometimes it's one with a 2.25 inner diameter and sometimes it's 2.125 inch. It seems like the most common for a 7k is the 2.125 inch but without any rhyme or reason that we have found it can be either. The # BK3-210 that you referenced comes with a seal that is 2.125 inch in inner diameter. What seal are you in need of?

  • Can You Use 8,000 Lb Wheel Bearings on a 7,000 Lb Trailer Axle
The wheel bearings for a 7,000 lb axle are not exactly the same as the wheel bearings for a 8,000 lb axle, the inner bearings are the same but the outer bearings are not, they have different outside diameters. Therefore, the two are not interchangeable. That said, even if you could upgrade this would not increase capacity nor should it really give you any more peace of mind.
