Adjustable trailer receiver hitch designed for use on RVs can be bolted to the vehicle frame or welded on for a no-drill application. Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.

  • The main hitch body tube can be trimmed so the ends are flush with the frame brackets. After trimming, coat the bare metal with paint to protect against rust and corrosion.
  • If welding this hitch, all welding surfaces must be cleaned to bare metal or the weld will not be the required strength and may void the warranty.

    The Curt Hitch part # 13703 is designed to fit I-beam trailer frames that are from 22-72 inches in width so in that regard it would be compatible with your 2004 Jayco 291RLTS fifth wheel. However, it will need to install on the inside of the frame though as that is how it is designed to install. If that is not going to be possible on your trailer due to the reasons you listed the only option I could recommend would be to contact a fabricator and have them make something that would fit.
