When deciding what trailer hitch will fit your RV best practice is to measure from inside the frame beam to the inside of the other frame beam to get the frame width. If you have a width of 18-51" then I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 18" to 51" Wide Item # C13702. It has a maximum 500lbs TW and 5000lbs GTW.

If you have a frame width above 51" then I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703. It has a maximum 350lbs TW and 3500lbs GTW.

Hello- We have a 42ft Newmar Dutch Star- 2007- and we were on our way home from Sturgis- had our trailer hooked on behind the coach & we just happen to stop in Mitchell S.D. & we pulled into the parking lot & the trailer hitch broke off & it feel to the ground-Thank God we were not on the interstate!! Our friend called a trailer place & they came & got it-took it to their shop & welded the crap out of & we got home with it. We don't think the hitch was heavy enough to begin with. Just wondering what kind of hitches you sell?

@JacquelineS We sell a small selection of weld-on trailer hitches that could potentially fit your Spartan chassis. To determine the correct fit we'll need to know the width of your frame and you'll need to measure down from the frame to determine where the receiver tube needs to sit to clear the rear fascia. The following options will fit an 18" to 44" wide frame width and any excess can just be trimmed off of the crosstube: Draw-Tite 7" Drop # 41990-07 16" Drop # 41990-16 Curt 3" Drop # 15901 9" Drop # C47CR 10.865" Drop # 15902 11-1/2" Drop # 15903 18" Drop # C99CR
