Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your trunk.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Great Products, Hitch and Wiring Kit arrived sooner than expected. Was very easy to install on my 2012 I4 Fusion after watching videos.
Will use pull a 5' X 10' Triton aluminum trailer.
Hitch and wiring for my car are as good or better than advertised. You need to charge more for your products (except stuff I order).
Installation of the wiring kit went very well and easier than I thought to run the power lead from the rear to the battery; follow the video as it's right-on.
This wiring harness works great for the Ford Fusion. I thought the installation video was very helpful.

Ingenious kit. Marvelous design. I thought you just had to splice into existing wiring . Good thing I did not try that.

I ordered this harness when ordering a trailer hitch. As with the, shipping was fast. And like the hitch, I spent some time watching the installation video to prepare. This product installed pretty easily though I had to modify a couple of items from the video.
First thing I modified was running the black wire to the battery. The location of the access hole used in the video did not exist on my 2010 Fusion. Instead, I ran the wire along a wiring harness into the rear passenger compartment and out an access hole under the rear seat on the driver side. Then followed the brake lines into the engine compartment.
Second, after drilling the pilot hole for the included self tapping screw and screwing the ground to the body, the screw would not tighten down. Instead I found a slightly larger metal screw that worked just fine.
Overall, I would recommend this harness for it's relative ease of installation and quality.

Nice part, you need this as no more direct wire splicing into newer car electrical systems. I ran my power wire through the interior instead of underneath vehicle
Toughest part was finding way through the dash. There is a plastic plug above the accelerator pedal that can be used. Little trickier with the Hybrid, extra module in the way, then straight gas, I have both 2010 models. Overall sweet looking install.
The wiring kit is solid! Super easy to install, especially with the awesome online video tutorial. The only thing I did different was that I ran the wire from the trunk through the inside of my Ford Fusion to the firewall where I went through an easy plastic port. I just couldn't see me running a wire underneath the car. I used this in conjunction with the Hidden Hitch trailer hitch and now i'm set up to haul my quad. Awesome price, fast shipping, great follow up. I'd recommend etrailer to anyone!!

The products are great. No complaints what so ever. I figured it was best to get 200 dollars worth of towing equipment for my quad and trailer than to spend 45k for a brand new truck! Thanks for the follow up.
I received all the parts promptly. Packaging was very sturdy and no shortages. I installed the hitch in 20 minutes! The wiring took a bit longer just because I had to work under the car, no lift in my driveway.
The install worked exactly as your video showed. Thank you to etrailer for the prompted service and very detailed video instructions. I will be back to etrailer for certain!

The hitch has been in use for a year now and still no issues. I periodically check the wiring visually and with a meter. All works fine. Bolts are still tight.
Hitch and wiring harness was shipped out the same day I ordered it arrived in 2 days both the hitch and harness were easy to install and work great. Thanks etrailer

This kit works excellent, used it with 18140 short bracket and 18144 four-pole mounting bracket. All in all, a professional looking install. Very happy

this kit makes for a professional wiring install. Was able to run power wire completely through interior of vehicle, there is a plastic plug located in the firewall, above the gas pedal, which allowed access to the engine compartment for power hookup. Very nice.

Holding up very well, just went camping at Limerick Rock without a Hitch! Pun intended!

Every piece fit perfectly, easy install, the most difficult task was getting the muffler hangers off. Two sets of hands and a car hoist would have sped it up considerably but all in all not hard at all. The wiring harness was a snap. Again everything fit perfectly and was of good quality. I installed the hitch, did the wiring for the trailer, and assembled a Harbor Freight trailer in two days!!! Thanks for great products. Now I won't have to buy a pickup!

Good quality wiring and a nearly effortless installation. Worked first time I turned the lights on. Easiest trailer wiring installation I've ever done. Installation video was right on and very helpful. Wire length was excellent. Everything fit like it should and quality of the kit is superb. Works like a champ! Delighted with the results.
This is my third trailer hitch installation from etrailer, and I have to say that they have performed admirably in all three cases. The items ordered arrived in a timely fashion, and all orders were correct. The install how-to videos are a very nice service provided by etrailer. Overall I would highly recommend etrailer.
Haven't tested if the harness works yet but there was more to it than advertised and their install video doesn't show the full install. I had to do some soldering but I got it all hooked up and my tail lights work good with it in there should be no problem with the trailer
