Is the tab welded on the Curt hitch for class one asscessories only

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11390 you were looking at for your 2012 Ford Fusion does have a welded tab limiting you to Class I compatible accessories, so you will need to double check that the accessories you purchase are compatible with Class I hitches.
This is done to make sure the accessories you use will not allow you to overload the hitch.
If you are planning on doing some light duty towing with your Fusion you will need a vehicle wiring harness # 118422, drawbar # C45521, 1-7/8" hitch ball # A-80 or 2" hitch ball # A-82, and hitch pin and clip # F-4.
