Brophy RV steps make climbing into a truck camper straightforward whether you mount to the camper or use a tailgate bracket on a flat surface. Measure your entry height to choose the right step count, and plan for a solid mount since curved tailgates can complicate things. Yes, installation is straightforward and the steps slip into a mounting bracket so they can be removed before travel. Check that the bracket is anchored into solid structure to help prevent it from pulling out over time. They typically attach to the bottom of the camper, not the tailgate. If you plan to use a tailgate, measure carefully and use a straight mounting surface so the bracket sits flat.
