Step in with confidence using MORryde RV steps that feel solid underfoot and can help reduce camper rocking. To get the right fit, measure your door frame width and your entry height, and match your step count and rise—rise is simply the distance between steps. On some installs, you may need to trim part of the door frame or aluminum foundation for screen door clearance.
Installation is generally straightforward. Check screen door clearance; some installs needed a small cut on the door frame lip or aluminum foundation for the door to close. Measure from the hinge line to place the stairs correctly. Lay out and count hardware before you start so you're not short mid-install.
Measure your door frame width and entry height first. MORryde offers steps for 23-3/4" - 26-1/4" wide door frames, and the entry height determines which step setup you need. If your opening is 27 3/4, a 26" step won't catch the lip—choose accordingly. Measure from the top of the doorway threshold to the ground to match the entry height range.
The 8" or 9" rise is the height between steps. Use the 8" rise with an entry height between 30" - 33-1/2". Use the 9" rise with an entry height between 34" - 36". Both are designed for 23-3/4" - 26-1/4" wide door frames. Confirm both your doorway width and your entry height to pick the right set.
