Yes, Diamond strip lights can retrofit into existing fluorescent housings and recessed fixtures. Remove the fluorescent bulbs and connect the strips per the instructions. Tie red to power and black to ground. If your fixture wiring isn't obvious, use a circuit tester to confirm power and ground. If the illustrations are small and hard to read, enlarge them before you start.
A kit with two 15" Diamond strips is rated at 1,400 lumens, while a F15W/33 CE tube is around 850 lumens. For more light, remove the fluorescent bulbs and wire in the LED strips to the fixture. Check your power is 12 volt and follow the wiring colors: red to power, black to ground.
