This LED light gives you bright light inside or outside your RV, utility trailer, pontoon boat, service truck, or garage. And because the light has weatherproof, flexible silicone construction, it'll work well even if it's gathering dust in a closet or out in light rain by your RV steps.
You can operate this light strip with the free-to-download smartphone app. It uses Bluetooth to manage multiple settings, including color, brightness, pattern, and speed, so you can customize the light strip to what you want it to be. You can also wirelessly play all your favorite songs on your smartphone with the built-in speaker on the included controller. And when you no longer need the light, press the on/off buttons.
If you don't want another app cluttering up your phone, you can also use the wireless IR remote control to change the light's functions. It'll also let the whole family change the light strip's settings without having to constantly ask you for your phone. The remote is an IR-style remote, so you'll need to make sure you point it at the controller before clicking any buttons.
Unlike other light strips that only emit one color, this light strip has 16 colors: red, orange, and various shades of yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink. These colors let you set the mood whether you're getting something out of the bed of your pickup truck or having some cocktails with friends on your boat. You can choose white to do maintenance work on your RV or red and blue for a 4th of July cookout, or the kids can choose their favorite color for sitting by the campfire.
These energy-efficient LEDs are the wattage equivalent of (3) 60-watt incandescent bulbs, but they are more energy efficient and burn brighter. You won't have to worry about replacing bulbs that have brittle filaments. And because LEDs draw minimal power, the light won't drain your battery or overload your circuits.
If you need a light strip for a smaller boat or RV space, you can simply use this strip's cut-to-fit design to shorten it. These cutting points are every 2", which means that you can have a custom-looking light strip that perfectly fits into the space you need it.
Peel the backing off and use the 3M adhesive to stick the light onto a wall, ceiling, or wherever else you need it. You can hardwire the light to a 12V DC power source, or you can use the included power adapter to plug the light into a 110V AC wall outlet.

The LED lights work as expected and were easy to install and hook up. Have tested them once so far and will use them on a trip later this month. etrailer delivered on time, as they always do!
The kit installed easily and worked well for several months. After a year the led colors have faded to point that they are not attractive and I plan to reply them soon. Very happy with my many etrailer purchases but can’t recommend this product.
The kit has worked well overall. It has remained waterproof for 1 year. Etrailer.com did a nice job of following up on my purchase. I would use them again.
Chelsea was the customer service rep that helped get the proper product code to make sure the additional 16' reel of lighting was the bright white like the first set I wanted to order. So happy I got what I wanted. Thanks.
Wish I could give it no stars. It does not work with 12 volts only with the wall plug-in. I notified Diamond and they blew me off. It states that it's a waterproof system but it's not! It comes with a different remote than it shows on the box... it's very bad! I was planning on putting it on my boat trailer so I can see it when lading at night but the system is not water proof!

Not the best design for using as awnings lights. Many trailers do not have power under the awning. Remote sensor has to be in direct range to work. Dometic had the best system but no longer are made. Thought theses would be comparable.
The LED strip lights by Diamond have lived up to my expectations. I had spent several hours over a few days looking at less expensive options, but decided that I should by what I wanted and not make do. They are everything that you could want and with RF control.

Installed this on my awning roller,all done in about 3 hrs really adds to the look of my rig thanks to etrailer for making sure I had everything to do the job can wait to get under the coach lighting bought and installed and you can bet I will be getting it from etrailer
I installed this on the underside of our 5th wheel. Really happy with the lights. Lots of different choices with the remote. It's nice being able to adjust the brightness as well as the colors. Install was easy as I wired them directly to a 12 volt source. The adapter for the 120v did not appear to plug all the way into the control box although I did not investigate further since I wasn't using it. I would have given it 5 stars but the backing on the adhesive came off too easily.
Great product with almost infinite color combinations and choice of brightness. Jazzed up our little camper very nicely.
The lights have been up on the camper just one day. They are as bright as I expected them to be. The remote took some figuring out as well as all the different light mods.
Install: install was easy. There is an “adhesive promoter” that smelled like nail polish remover on a small sponge that dried out quickly when I was about half done prepping the install surface but thankfully I have a woman in the house so it was easy to refresh the sponge with more nail polish remover. Make sure you find a bottle before the product arrives. The LED strip did not fit in the factory slot but the adhesive backing seems durable and it looks ok when the lights are off. I attached it directly to the fiberglass below the rail the awning attached to. The adhesive is not very forgiving so only adhere a small section at a time.
I am happy with the product considering I can choose color on a whim and it ties into same two wires my $117 solid white LED awning light tied into. (Did have to use two crush type connectors to connect wiring so have those on hand too.) The lights also power on when the porch light button is flipped inside the camper as long as the lights were on when the main power was flipped off which I was worried about having to do the switch and remote every time. So that was a small win. Remote works good but uses a battery type I am not familiar with. I am still debating if I will cut the second reel of lights to cover an extra 18 inches of length under the awning. It’s bright enough as is.

The product did arrive as scheduled today. After looking through the material they talk about the 12 volt adapter having a red and black wire. The adapter i have that came in the kit has two black wires attached to it. Also there is no information in the kit regarding the 3M adhesive used on the LED’s and what i would use to clean the 5th wheel finerglass surface when i will be installing the LED lights at
The lights are super easy to put on. I installed them in about 30 mins. Great color and different options on the light strip.
Lights work great. Connection could be more sturdy to maximize reliability.

Just got it open, well my daughter opened it, as I, unfortunately, just had knee surgery, but I was able to at least look at the reel and it us exactly as pictured on your site, which is exactly what I need for my boat to match what I have previously from you, but a different product ID, that got damaged from the last hurricane last year here in Florida. So, I am hopeful once I'm back on my feet, I'll be able to test it out, should be fine as the led strip reel is the same. Thank you for the great images on the site and delivering what was advertised. That doesn't always happen with internet purchases, but that said, etailer.com has always been great with everything over the years, and the customer service has always been outstanding, as is the communication followups. I have installed these on other slides of my motorhome and they work perfectly that’s why I purchased these to finish the job
Receiver doesn’t pick up very far.
I struggled with where to install it in my trailer, but finally chose a position 3 weeks ago. I used it over the 4th of July celebrating America's 250th Birthday and it worked awesome.
I'm not real happy with this purchase. Bluetooth will not connect and the remote is failing after just a few button presses. It is installed now, so I guess I'll keep it even though I can only use the red, green, or blue lights

Hey Nathan. This kit comes with an IR-style remote. It pretty much functions the same as a standard TV remote so wouldn't have much distance. You may get a little more distance with using the app. Usually Bluetooth stays connected up to 30 feet.
