Will Curt Fixed Fifth Wheel Hitch Work with Demco Rail Kit Adapter and Reese Revolution Pin Box

Question:

Will this work on a 2017 Ram 2500 crew cab short bed with a Demco puck system adapter and a Reese Revolution king pin? If so would you recommend it? My current Demco 6180 hitch makes my 5th wheel tow nose high even on its lowest adjustment. I have about 8-9” clearance from the trucks bed rails to the front of the 5th wheel when connected now.

Hey Carl, yes the Curt E16 hitch part # C16115 does work with the Demco rail kit adapter and a Reese Revolution pin box but due to it's loose jaw design it would not be my first choice.

Instead I would recommend the Curt A16 part # C16120 which also fits both the rail adapter and pin box, has the same height range as the E16 but has a much nicer jaw design so it will be a lot quieter.

Will the wedge that came with my Reese Revolution work with the Curt A16 or do I need to purchase a wedge made for this hitch?

@Carl I would strongly recommend using the custom wedge for your A16 with the part # RP31016. The universal one that comes with it would work but it would be a lot harder to deal with and might move a little more than you'd like.
