Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum
Couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to go with this bike rack, was on the fence between brands but Rhino Rack makes it beyond easy to use, from installing it on the racks, to daily use is just unbelievably simple! 100% would recommend to anyone looking into bike racks. Also huge selling point for sure is that it covers a very wide range of tire sizes where others are very specific!
Great option for one bike. Keep the tires on. Doesn't rock at all. Key and lock ensures it can't come out

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms

Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On
Works as advertised.
Love this product! I built a great bike carrying system for my F-150 using two of these fork clamps. They are easy to install and extremely well made. No more tangled bikes and lots more room in the bed for other stuff! Best way to go for a nice bike rack system. Thanks, Phil T.

Malone Runway Spare Tire Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - Adjustable Arms
We received the bike rack very quickly and installed it on our 2011 Rav 4. The rack seems quite sturdy but we couldn't be confident in using it. The straps holding the unit onto the spare tire, when tightened as much as humanly possible, still left the hooks somewhat loose. We simulated a bouncy dirt rocky road and the straps worked their way loose towards the sides of the spare tire thus loosening the whole unit. We felt that the whole thing could easily come off the spare tire taking our new bikes with it. We just felt like it was too risky. The way the Rav 4 spare tire is mounted makes it hard to get the straps all the way straight under the tire and, therefore, leaves them vulnerable to working their way loose and off the tire.
Seems quite sturdy. Retaining straps are a pain to get through the buckles. Recommend setting the rack on a flat surface, I used the truck tailgate, to start the straps through the buckles. Otherwise an easy install , fits tight on the spare tire. I got this to carry our folding wheeled walkers also known as roller-a-raters . Moving them outside will free up a lot of room for the fur baby .

Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Although the bike rack is everything I had hoped it would be, I will say the instructions leave a lot to be desired. We are only talking a bike rack and one that is nearly assembled but these are my comments: 1) Which way to the rubber straps go, with the groove edge toward the bike or away? 2) How do you attach the "sway bars" and where? 3) Did they tell you the sway bars connect to the thin part of the bracket, no! 4) What's this big bolt for? Eventually you figure it all out(with the exception of the groove edge of the straps) but why not make the instructions a little clearer? Again, it is a great rack for carrying up to four(4) bikes! MTF
You can't beat this bike rack if you have a receiver hitch for price/quality. Handles 4 bikes easily. The bonus for us on our Ford Edge with a 1.25" receiver, the gate is still able to open with the rack on without having to make it tilt down. The handlebars of the first bike sometimes gets in the way, but it still is nice.

Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Dual Arms
I absolutely love my bike rack. It is sturdy and easy to install and to use. Funny enough story, sorta... I was rear-ended at a slow mph speed, and the car not only hit my bumper but hit my bike rack too. My car and rack suffered minor damage, while his took a beating as that steel bar holding the rack through the spare tire, smashed in his bumper and his hood. I was amazed how sturdy that bike rack was/is. The bike rack itself had some scrapes, with only a slight bend in the still bar, but it still usable!!! Now that is great quality!!!
This bike rack works great. Took my bike on a cross country road trip from Tampa, Florida to Whistler, British Columbia and back with no issues. There was no slipping or excessive shaking with highway speeds up to 80ish mph. Encountered 105 degree heat, rain squalls and snow storms with no issues. No problems with the set up and the fact that the rear spare tire on my 2011 Toyota Rav4 is off center was not an issue as the rack can accommodate for this. It's a well made product from a reputable company. Make sure to read the directions as they advise against opening the rear hatch with the bike on the rack due to weight concerns. Shipping was quick as were replies to questions to customer service. Follow up correspondence from etrailer was also appreciated. Overall great experience, would highly recommend the product as well as etrailer. Thanks!
Thanks for the follow up! The bike rack continues to work great. It survived another cross-country trip this year. Hope you guys had a successful holiday season.

Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack - 1 Bike
This is the best bike rack system I have used so far. I tried roof racks, truck bed tension racks, and tail gate pad. We used this for the first time today, and I am very pleased. Our bikes were very secure and the system is easy to use. Two thumbs up!
Still 5 Stars, after a year!
It actually works well. I have a short bed so I have to put the bike in with the front tire at the tailgate because of my basket platform. I do use a ratchet strap to add additional security to the tire closest to the cab. It’s a little tricky getting the rack itself set up with the straps that secure it between the tailgate and the bed for good closure of the tailgate. Since it doesn’t fold, it should be placed inside the truck if you travel with it. I’m planning to do some camping with a small fiberglass camper next fall. This is my only option for taking the bike that I feel comfortable about. I will update when I try this. I hate just laying my bike down in the bed so I’m hoping this works for camping.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
I 've just opened the box and do not qualify to give a review. What I see looks very well made, but I have concerns about the upper straps location. I have a spoiler on my 2016 Ford Edge Titanium that will not allow me to have the straps over the top. The hinge points at the top of the spoiler are my only connection point to provide strap support. The hinge point looks adequate, but the strap hook appears to be too wide to make that connection. Any suggestions before I return bike rack?
Very nice, works well. The only thing that was an issue was with the "Anchor" part of assembly. The straps it came with were 2-3 ft. too short. So I had to replace/substitute my cargo straps for the Yakima top straps. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with this item.
Still very worth every penny.

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
So far this is a great bike rack hitch. Have not had a chance to hit the road with it. But putting it together and installing on my vehicle was easy. Mounted my bikes on it in a snap and it seemed very stable. No issues. Just take your time and read through instruction for assembly and installation and it will be a snap.
Product quality is good. Good solid tight hitch mount. Held bike secure. It is a heavy unit though and might be awkward for some people.

RockyMounts BrassKnuckles Roof Mounted Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Black
l Low profile, holds the bikes in place and very easy to put the bikes on the rack. Also, very east install.
Great rack, about to buy another one. Also bought a trailer hitch that we installed ourselves. In the process of purchasing a roof cage with bike mounts. Everything I have gotten off of the site is great. Had 2 hitches installed by you guys and everything works great. Definitely recommend.

RockyMounts TomaHawk Roof Bike Rack for Fat Bikes - Wheel Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum
The RockyMounts Tomahawk bike-rack is a high quality aluminum frame, which will last years to come. And it's universal fit makes it easy to mount on any roof rack! My bike has big Bontrager tires which fit pretty well on the carrier. It took 15 minutes to assemble, but the instructions were not very clear. A [online] video was better help! I haven't used it on a trip yet, but so far so good!
It has been a year since owning the TomaHawk Bike Rack & I couldnt be happier! No problems so far & I have taken it on at least 20 trips across ontario. Very good quality & has not put a single scratch on my bike... 5 stars!!
This is my first Rockymount product, and they have won me over. This was well-designed and secures bicycles very well, despite the broad selection of wheel accomodations. In the future, I will not even look at the other two major bike rack makers. I really like how it requires common bicycle tools to disassemble, which makes me think it is more secure than all the other racks I own that have wingnuts everywhere.
No issues. Great product. Great dealer.

Yakima HalfBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms

Swagman Pick-Up Truck-Bed-Mounted 2 Bike Carrier - Locking - Fork Mount
Mounted this in a 2018 Nissan Frontier crew can pickup. Fits perfectly and holds the bikes securely. Well made product. Nice finish. Five Stars. Dave in Bangor, Pa.
Still working perfectly after a year. well made.
We plan to use this on an upcoming trip. It arrived quickly. There was great customer service on the ordering end. It is very heavy, seems to be well made. It is easy to install and fits great in our truck. Look forward to using it.
Its great. We used it in our aluminum boat to transport bikes since the truck was full of camping stuff. Drove from NJ to FL. Worked great. Just needed to tie down bikes to boat seat really well.

etrailer Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
Easy to assemble. Seems to be well built. I have yet to put bikes on it. May I suggest two changes in design. 1. Provide hex wrench with more length. With the location of the hex screws and the torque it requires to tighten, the additional length will make this step much easier. 2. Make hitch bolt/pin non-threaded for the use of universal pin/bolt with lock option to secure rack to vehicle. The price is what sold me, but I don't feel I sacrificed quality at all.(maybe weight, but I have not compared on this spec)
I've had a similar rack in the past, and have always used a few bungees to stabilize the fork and bikes, but overall the bikes mount safely and securely. The hitch bolts securely into the receiver, so no wobble at all there, but the hinge is a little wobbly - I'm going to add a few washers where the upright pivots - it think that'll take out a little play. A solid rack for the price, for sure. Finally, there were a few washers missing from the sealed parts bag, but I was able to find replacements in my shop.

Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack - Frame Mount - Clamp On or Channel Mount - Aluminum
Thule never disappoints! I’ve had my Thule Roof Rack for over 10 years and final added the Thule Proride Xt Roof Bike Rack. Best investment for my ‘09 Mini Cooper
Appreciate the expedited shipping. Bike rack was packaged well and the team at eTrailer made sure the bike rack arrived before my son left for college. He was able to install the bike rack including his mountain bike in 15 minutes and is very pleased with the quality.

Thule OutWay Platform Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Adjustable Trays
Originally I was looking to put a hitch on my 2021 jeep renegade sport for a hitch mount bike rack, after seeing that I would either have to remove seam sealer and drill holes in my rear subframe (this is not a good option living in the rust belt), or remove my entire back bumper off and cut holes in it for the factory style hitch, and still have a rack that is illegal and blocks my license plate/brake lights turn signals I decided to look at different options. A roof rack is a little too high to lift a bike on comfortably. This thule outway platform 2 takes about 10 minutes to install correctly, and is solid and holds the bike securely, and the rack locks to the vehicle, and also the bikes lock to the rack no extra purchases required (comes with 2 keys and plastic spoiler supports). I have driven 80mph over potholes and bumps, also on extreme hills and has held securely.
Great product. Packaging came damaged but product looked ok.

RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
It is everything I expected. It works perfectly with my 2 e-bikes or traditional bikes. I keep it permanently attached to my camper van and it swings away easily to allow access to the rear doors loaded or empty.
I bought the RockyMounts BacSstage so we can take our Grandson and 2 Great Granddaughters with us on the trails. A 20 inch bicycle and a 2 child bicycle trailer lay flat under a tonneau cover. Just swing the bikes out to the side, drop the tailgate, unload and go. Perfect solution for us! I'm 65 years young and have no trouble lifting the rack into the 2 inch hitch. The folks at etrailer are great to deal with, great communication and fast shipping.

Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds - Clamp On
I ordered 2 racks. It took a little while to get the clamps in place and tightened down primarily because my truck has a 5 1/2 foot bed and the bikes are longer than that. Once I got the placement right I was able to clamp the bikes in place without taking off the front wheels. Tested the security on a rough road and the bikes stayed solidly in place. I have more room in the bed now the bikes are closer to the side of the truck than before. The racks are going work well for us.
We use these racks every time we travel. I highly recommend them. Well worth the money
Inexpensive and reliable way to carry your bikes upright in your truck bed without having to remove the front wheel to put into a receiver. leaves lots of room to carry other things in the bed because it allows the bikes to be secured closed to the side of the bed.

Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Great product so far! Easy to install and adjust. A little tricky to load 2 large handlebar mountain bikes and a third smaller bike, but we just turned them sideways with the front wheels taken off. We had racks on bikes which were probably the impediment. We got them on though! Love how it folds up easy for quick storage. Works great on 2014 Subaru Outback.
Working great!

Rhino-Rack Road Warrior Rooftop Bike Carrier - Fork Mount
Seem sturdy enough. The locking fork axle is a nice piece of mind. It should keep honest people honest.
Just got parts back about 2 months ago. Red locking tab broke on the first time removing the rack. Parts not available and on order for a couple months. Rhino did cover the parts and shipped them as soon as arrived. I found the weak link of the product I guess.
This bike carrier has a clean design and it assembled and attached to the roof rack easily. A locking front cover prevents it from being detached from the roof rack and the tray has a cut out in the front for a disc brake if my next bike has one. Once everything is snug, the bike feels solid and there's no slop.

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at our Swagman E-Spec two bike rack here on our 2020 Ford Edge. Swagman XTC-2 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Ford Edge
Rob: Hey, everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman XTC-2 Platform Style Two-Bike Rack on our 2019 Ford Edge. Now, our Swagman is going to be a great value rack and really be a good entry point into getting a platform-style rack. Now, platform-style rack is going to have a tray, wheel hoops, some kind of platform that our bike is going to sit on. And our Swagman here, we're also going to have a frame hook right here in the center that's going to make sure our bikes are nice and secure. Now, again, we're going to be able to carry up to two bikes with this to and from the trail with our Swagman here. Now, the way it's going to hold everything in place those wheel hooks, we're just going to ratchet down, and then on each one of the wheel hoops here, we're going to have a strap. We're going to pull our bike off, so we could take a little bit of a closer look.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2019 Ford Edge
Rob: Hey, everybody. It's Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro four bike hanging style rack on our 2019 Ford Edge. Now, our Hitching Post Pro is going to allow us to take up to four bikes to and from the trail. Now, I personally really like hitch mounted bike racks. I personally think it's a lot easier than cramming them in the back of the hatch, and I don't like the idea of having a roof rack on our Edge. I'm a little bit on the shorter side, and I just don't like the idea of having to lift my bike this high, and being this close to the paint. So a hitch mounted carrier is going to make it a lot easier on our backs, because we're not going to be lifting our bikes as high, and again, we don't have to be so close to the car and worry about any kind of scratches or damage. Our Hitching Post Pro is going to hold our bike at three different points.

As you can see, we do have a bike installed, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now like most platform style racks, this one can tilt away from your vehicle to give you access to your hatch. It can do it with four bikes loaded. We only have the one, but we'll still show you the feature. We're gonna pull this gray pin right here.

The cradles also are adjustable, left and right, and up and down the bike rack to accommodate any type of spacing or size bikes you might have. Our bike is secured at three different points of contact. Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Edge
Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0, here on our 2016 Ford Edge. That's gonna be an excellent way of transporting your more lightweight bikes on a nice stable platform style rack to wherever you need to go. Now, what I mean by that lightweight capacity So, we are only about 40 pounds capacity per bike on the Sherpa here, today. Which makes it excellent for, yes, transporting your carbon frame bikes as they are lightweight. And since we do have a nice little tire hold format here on our platform rack, becomes an excellent option for these guys, as you're not needing that high weight capacity.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Edge
Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 here on our 2016 Ford Edge. Now this is giving me an amazing way of getting some bikes to the trailhead wherever you go. The Kuat NV definitely one of the more premium platform style carriers or tray carriers that's giving me a great way of getting your bikes there because we have a couple of great, awesome features here. Right out of the gate, you are seeing you're getting a nice tire hold format on this guy.
Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2016 Ford Edge
Today on our 2016 Ford Edge we're going to be taking a look at the Thule double track two bike platform rack, part number TH990XT. Now the way we have our bike mounted here is there's going to be three points of contact. We're going to have a frame hook right here and we're going to have a strap going over each wheel. Now the way we take these off, if we take the silver tab and we lift up and push in on the black button, feed our strap through, and we'll do the same thing on the back side. Now as we come to our frame hook here, if we push in on the gray button we can move our hook up and remove our bike. I always just like to put the straps back that way we don't have to worry about them getting damaged. Here on our frame hook it is going to make contact with the frame, but it does have a nice, soft foam coating so we don't have to worry about any scratches on our bike.
Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2016 Ford Edge
Today on our 2016 Ford Edge, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Apex swing four bike rack, part number TH9027. Now one of the really nice features of this bike rack is that we can actually move our bike rack out of the way to gain access to our back hatch without having to remove the bike itself. If we come down here to think knob, it's going to be located directly behind the mast, we loosen this knob and we come up this lever here and we pull on this lever, we're going to actually swing our bike rack out of the way and we can gain full access to our back hatch to get anything in or out that we may need. Now to put our bike back into position, simply swing the bike rack back around, lift up on this lever and we can tighten down our knob again. Now if we take a closer look at how our bike is mounted to our bike rack, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two straps on our cross bar here and we're going to have one on the vertical support acting as our anti sway cradle. Now to take the bike off, simply pull on the rubber straps releasing them and our bike can come right off.
Good do not use it much as we have managed to carry our walkers inside. Still a well buolt rac.
