Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Ordered online, it shipped the same day. Received it 3 days later. There is a little assembly, but, pretty simple. It took me less than 15 minutes to install and no tools were needed. It is adjustable to be used on many different auto types, but, the instructions were very clear about how to adjust it to fit my 2011 Ford Edge. I have used it twice so far to transport my bike. There are a couple of items that are inherent in the design, not a flaw, but, you need to be aware of them. First, you can't use rear window wipers. Second, the back-up alarm goes nuts because it registers a bike less than 6 inches behind you (I tolerate it for the few seconds it takes to back out of my driveway or out of a parking lot). Third, there is a little flexibility, it is held on with straps and clamps, not bolts, so, it bounces a little when you go over bumps or make sharp turns, however, it holds the bike fast to the frame and stays on the car. I use mine to transport my bike on short trips around town to bike trails. On a long trip I would suggest checking that the straps remain tight from time to time during the drive.
Easy install. Directions with specific car notes is great. The only issue with the bike mount was trying to adjust the rubber bike cradles to fit our two bikes. Really hard to adjust. You can twist them with strong effort, however moving them back and forth comes with high difficulty. Finally called customer support and they advised to heat it or use soap and also said the cradles may not remain in place after they are moved. IO opted for strength (which was quite a feat for an old guy like me) and twisted and pulled until the cradles were adjusted for our bikes. Tested with bikes and it worked great!

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Fits perfectly on our Lexus CT200h. Only on the old LS400, the side straps have to be fastened to the wheel arch edge, since the upper trunklid gap is to narrow for inserting the strap hooks. Mounting of two bikes is (with some routine) quickly done, and they stay safe even for longer and faster routes. For transporting three (mountain) bikes, though, the design doesn't seem big and robust enough. Nevertheless, the price-benefit-fun ratios are way better than reasonable.
I was convinced I was going to have to install a hitch, and purchase a hitch bike rack for my 2011 Ford Edge. I was searching on Google "One last time" Not only did I find one. But you had SEVERAL options! And, you didn't stop there. Even videos on how to. Who does that?! As a mom of two, who's husband works out of state, I really thank you. I received the rack last night. Dropped my 3 and 5 year olds off at day care, came home. Easy installation. Got a ride in! And a full day stuff done. I really thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
fantastic product best design of any 2 bike rack that fits crossovers and most other cars.
Really well made and sturdy. Fitment website very helpful, especially the photos showing my exact vehicle. Used it for first time yesterday and worked great!

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This rack was exactly as advertised, and a considerable bargain versus the $350 alternatives. Easy to assemble, great instructions, easy to mount on the car and easy to load. I drove around, hit some bumps, made some turns, etc. and the bikes were as solid as I when I loaded them. It also held my wife's bike securely (it has a low bar), which was a big concern of mine. Can't speak to longevity since I just got it, but it is well constructed and the pieces fit snugly ... it "feels" well made. Attached to a Ford Edge with a 2" hitch.
Seems pretty easy to use bikes fit well. I will be taking on her maiden voyage next week end to long Island and some of the best roads in the country "NOT" so this should be a good test.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Good: the product assembly was fairly easy, and the instructions were good. I found the rack easy to insert and remove from the hitch. I use a wrench to ensure it is tightened, and just keep that wrench in the car at all times. Poor: I found it somewhat cumbersome to organize two bikes on the rack. You need to adjust the tire platforms just so, depending on the bikes. But also, the height matters too, and getting them on there so that the handlebars and pedals don't clash. That can be a small issue with hanging racks too. If you always have the same 1 or 2 bikes, then you figure out a routine and just stick with it. But, that said, I didn't think the inverted hooks securely held the bikes. I never feel as if I can get them snug, and I end up using a couple of bungees just for insurance. Plus, I'm not comfortable with the tires sticking out beyond the sides of the car, even though they probably don't stick out much further than the outside edge of the sideview mirror. My final assessment: I went back to the roof rack I had been using, for convenience and easy of use. I tried the hitch rack because I didn't want to risk marring the roof of my new Prius with the load-bearing bars and then the bike rack-tracks on top of that. But, with a second person, I was able to get the bars and rack positioned with no problems, and decided to just leave it on for the season. It takes me only about 4 minutes to get two bikes on top without any assistance. And I have access to the trunk (which I definitely don't have with the hitch rack).
Arrived quickly and was simple to install. Easy to fit to my bikes. Very solid and well made.

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
This is the only rack that would fit on my ford edge. I leave the anchor straps and all year around even though I bike three seasons. The rack is solid and very easy to load bikes onto.
The Yakima Y02633 worked incredibly well for 3 bikes - Worked extremely well with 2016 Lincoln MKX (Lincoln version of Ford Edge) - Very sturdy and handled the turns very well

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
The rack shipped fast, thank you! Assembly was easy and rack looks very sturdy. I did have to disassemble and switch position of the locking arms to accommodate our bikes, but this was easy to do. I bought this rack to take our bikes to Florida for our 2 month winter break. Fits our 2015 Ford Edge great and tilt feature allows for easy access to rear cargo area. Very happy so far with the Swagman Chinook, the upcoming trip will be the true test of the rack. Thanks etrailer.com for a trouble free online shopping experience.
Still getting spacing sorted out, but so far it's a good carrier. It's stable in my Class 1 receiver and seems to keep the bike from bouncing around. I slipped an old sock over the locking arm to prevent frame rub some people have claimed. While the bike is held securely for travel to/from the trails, I can't get the locking arm to sit in the lowest point of the top tube by the seat post - the safest spot regarding anti-theft - without my bike being shifted to the extreme edge of the carrier. My solution was to get a security cable similar to this - https://www.etrailer.com/Bike-Locks/Master-Lock/72DPF.html - and padlock it to the receiver for trips where I plan to be away from the car/bike for more than a couple minutes. Why I knocked off a star: One of the supplied carriage bolts is 1/8-1/4" too short out of the box, making it impossible to thread the nut on the end with the split-lock washer in place. And perhaps I don't know my own strength, but I over-torqued one nut and snapped the bolt, sending it flying. I replaced all 4 assembly bolts and split-lock washers with some Grade 5, zinc-plated, 5/16-18 carriage bolts in sizes (1) 2", (1) 2.5", (2) 3". M8-1.25 also works.

Malone Hanger Trunk Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - Adjustable Arms
Good to great product. Is easy to secure to the back of my 2012 Mazda 5 station wagon. Mounting 3 adult sized bikes took some practice to navigate through hinged braces especially with a bike that had an unconventional frame. Requires some bungee cord traction to keep front wheels from flailing around but that is probably an issue with all bike racks?
Works great! We keep it set up to one position because it's used on my car only. I'm glad we bought the lock feature because we can just leave the rack on at the trail site. This was a great purchase. I'm impressed that you follow up on your product. I recall your staff was quite helpful in making sure I purchased the correct item for my car and set it up correctly. No recent pictures of the carrier but I do have one of myself as "happy camper" on the Fox River Trail which was doable because of the carrier purchase!!

Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
I 've just opened the box and do not qualify to give a review. What I see looks very well made, but I have concerns about the upper straps location. I have a spoiler on my 2016 Ford Edge Titanium that will not allow me to have the straps over the top. The hinge points at the top of the spoiler are my only connection point to provide strap support. The hinge point looks adequate, but the strap hook appears to be too wide to make that connection. Any suggestions before I return bike rack?
My wife and I love our bike rack and use it regularly with ease. Thank you

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Check out my other review on the hidden hitch for a 2015 BMW 4 Series for the majority of the review, but this thing is great. Easy setup and install, does all the things it's supposed to do. Mounting and removing bikes is a snap with the included clips (big difference from some of the cheaper variants with nylon ratchet straps). Fits very snugly in my 2" receiver, and pretty solid on the highway and over bumpy roads.
This is a great bicycle rack that is well built. When I received the rack, the box was damaged from shipping and the lock keys were missing. I contacted the staff at etrailer and they were incredibly quick to provide a solution. Awesome customer service! Will gladly do business with etrailer again.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
When I started the search for a bike rack, I was so disappointed and upset to hear that I would need to install a hitch and spend even more money to buy another bike rack for my 2016 jeep renegade. I ordered this bike rack with a little hope but got a huge surprise! Not only is it super convenient and easy to install but I can fully use my trunk and not spend a ton of money!
Very nice, works well. The only thing that was an issue was with the "Anchor" part of assembly. The straps it came with were 2-3 ft. too short. So I had to replace/substitute my cargo straps for the Yakima top straps. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with this item.
Fit Verified: Thule Helium Pro Bike Rack for 3 Bikes on a 2015 Ford Edge
Hey everyone! Today we have a 2015 Ford Edge and we're going to test it with a Touhey Helium Pro Three-Bike Hanging Style Rack. Now this hanging rack's going to allow you to transport up to three bikes to and from the trails, or wherever else you're going to take them. It's got a pretty cool design in that it comes in at about 20 pounds, so it's going to be pretty light and very easy to handle so any time you're installing it into your hitch or taking it out, you're not going to have to put too much strain on your back or anything like that which is pretty nice because most, you know, three to four bike platform racks are going to get up there in weight. You know, 30, 40 pounds and that's just going to be a lot less weight you got to carry so, which is good for that. Now, the bike itself is going to be attached at three different points. We have two straps on top of the top tube, right there. The third point is going to be down here on the seat post tube. It's going to be securing, the strap is going to be securing it into the anti sway cradle and that just helps prevent a lot of unnecessary movement out of our bike while we're traveling. We're going to have an onboard cable lock that comes out from the base, it goes over top of your bikes and locks into this slot right there.

When compared to a lot of other platform style racks, the ones that get up there 30 to 40 pounds, that could be a bit of a hassle and a bit of a strain on your back to be constantly put in and out of your hitch. While Thule came up with this bike rack so you don't have that problem anymore. The bike itself is gonna be held in at three different points. We're gonna have a strap on the top part of this tube, right here. We're also gonna have the same thing on the other side so two straps on top.
