It sure is Rob, and congrats on the new SUV. The Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver item # TS76VR is definitely comparable to the Stealth Hitches item # SH87FR. It's got the same kind of removable receiver that works great with a bike rack, plus you can tow with it without having to buy a specific ball mount. The crossbar mounts in an identical way behind your Volvo's rear bumper as well.

Great question, Tex!
You are correct that both the Curt # C92WR and Draw-Tite # 76194 trailer hitch receivers have the same basic design for your 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge. We actually had the opportunity to install the Curt on a 2024 XC60 so if your XC60 Recharge has the same cutout in the bumper that we show in the video (and I've attached in a photo) then you won't have to trim anything or hammer anything into place.

I would be happy to get you exactly what you need. To do so, I would first need to know if your 2017 Volvo XC90's roof has side rails on top that are raised or if they are flush to the roof (basically, if there is a space underneath the rails on top of your roof or not). If you can get back to me with that info I can get you exactly what you need. view full answer...
Yes, it does. The Oris AK41 Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver item # TS76VR only blocks it where the 2" receiver sits and you do not want to be kicking that spot anyways.
The Oris AK41 Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver item # TS76VR is custom fit for the 2021 Volvo XC90. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight. I really like this hitch because when you're not using it you can remove the receiver and not... view full answer...
Hello Geoff, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a stealth hitch and wiring package for the 2024 Volvo XC90. For that, I recommend the following:
- Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2" # SH27FRT
This comes with everything you need to pull a trailer. You get the stealth hitch and rack receiver, plus the towing kit with active harness. The hitch has a max towing capacity of 6,000 lbs so this will be plenty strong for a 2,500 lb enclosed trailer.... view full answer...
Hey Stephen! The dealer is right but you can get around this and still use the Curt # C92WR. This isn't just an issue with your vehicle, almost all new vehicles have those rear sensors and they will pick up something like a 4-bike rack because it doesn't know it is attached to the vehicle. Even though this is true, there are thousands of people out there installing aftermarket hitches and carrying bike racks and cargo carriers.

Hi Clayborne; installation of the Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver # TS76VR will require trimming on your 2019 Volvo XC90 T6. It will not interfere with the hands free kick sensor. The trimming is underneath the bumper for the receiver to fit so it won't be visible. See the attached photos.

Hey Brandon, I would strongly recommend sticking with the Tekonsha RF brake controller part # TK94FR. We know this works really well and it sounds like it worked well for you too. The Curt Echo is not reliable enough for me to really ever recommend it for anyone. The Autowbrake part # 3430001 is a really solid option too but the overall feedback we've gotten is that the RF is best overall.
The Curt Truu Course part # C94VV is perfectly compatible with all of the mentioned controllers. view full answer...
Hello Jeff,
Then correct replacement for your Thule Aeroblade (not the edge) is the Replacement Rubber Strip for Thule Aero Load Bars 53" # TH853354407.
The Replacement Cover Strip with Pattern for Thule AeroBlade Edge Cross Bars - 59" Long # TH69JH is designed for the Edge, so it will not sit in the channel correctly.

No, I am sorry we do not have any pictures or instructions of the Oris Hitches Detachable Hitch item # TS76VR installed on a 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge. We haven't had an opportunity to install this hitch yet.
What I do have, that I hope helps, is an installation video and instructions for the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH87FR, which is almost an identical set up. I have attached these below. We actually installed this hitch on a 2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge and took a couple... view full answer...
Hello Bill. The Draw-Tite Class 4 Hitch # 76194 is what I recommend for the 2016 Volvo XC90. The install is a bit more on the difficult side because you do need to remove the rear bumper completely, as well as trim part of the bumper and the heat shield. Our installation video is linked below if you want to take a look and see how your feel.
That said, we do offer installation services at our shop here in Wentzville MO (near St. Louis). If that is too far for you, we may have an installer... view full answer...
Both the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C92WR and Stealth Hitches # SH87FR will fit your 2021 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid. The Curt is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,000 lbs and tongue weight of 400 lbs. This hitch has a concealed cross tube so you will only see the receiver tube hanging down at rear of the vehicle.
The Stealth Hitch is not rated for towing without adding the towing kit. This has a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs... view full answer...
We sure do!
For your 2018 Volvo XC60 I recommend the Stealth Hitch # SH87FR if you mainly intend to use it for a bike rack or a cargo carrier.
If you intend to tow with your Volvo, then I recommend the # SH87FRT which is the same hitch, but also comes with everything that you need for towing a trailer.
You will also want to verify the towing limits of your vehicle by checking your copy of the owner's manual. You will just need to follow whichever limit is lower, the vehicle's or the... view full answer...
Hey Rick,
We do have a hitch and wiring option for that XC40 Recharge. For the hitch I recommend the Curt # C82ZJ. This is a 2" hitch with a 600lb tongue weight capacity and 4,000lb towing capacity. Simple installation considering it is a no drill install!
The wiring harness to pair with it would be the Curt # C56355. It is a plug and play harness that you would still need to run power to a battery. I did some research on that vehicle and there is a main battery under the car, as well... view full answer...
It appears that none of the aftermarket manufacturers have a hitch option for your 2024 Volvo S60. I recommend visiting a local fabrication shop in your area to determine if they can help you with a Weld-On Receiver # E17.
If they determine there is no way to install a hitch below your chassis you will want to consider using a Yakima FullBack 2 # Y02634 or 3 # Y02633 bike rack which will mount to your trunk. These racks will require a Adapter Bar # Y02531 if you have an alternative or... view full answer...
Hello Jon,
I find it interesting that on the Draw-Tite you have to trim the heat shield and on the Curt you do not, which really is the case.
With any aftermarket hitch there is always the possibility of the kick free sensor being covered, we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C92WR and found that the sensor is not covered and works just fine.
As for unhooking the sensor, that will not be necessary, it is located behind the fascia and is not in... view full answer...

Hi Zach!
We do have wiring for your 2025 Volvo XC90 and the Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # TS76VR does include a plate for mounting it as well. They call it a socket mounting plate in the instructions. You will need to drill a hole through that plate to get a wiring harness through it though.
For the wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56285. This is a plug and play harness, though... view full answer...
Hello Randall, thanks for reaching out. The 4-pole T-Connectors like the Curt # C56355 are for brake lights, taillights and turn signals. This has nothing to do with the trailer brakes, so I am not sure what the person who left that review was referring to.
Running the black wire to the battery is a necessary step. The converter module needs a direct 12v power source, and the only way to get that is to go directly to the battery. We get asked this a lot because just like you, a lot of... view full answer...
I don't believe a 2016 Volvo VNL780 has electric brake wiring since they are setup for the air brakes of a semi truck trailer but the Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller # 335DL-100 can still be used as long as it has a 12 volt electrical system. You'd just need to hardwire the controller to the truck using it's included universal wiring harness.
The white wire goes to ground, black to 12 volt power, red to a stoplight circuit (typically at the brake pedal switch), and... view full answer...
