Hi, does this have a built in wiring harness mount? Or would that need to installed separately.

Hi Zach!
We do have wiring for your 2025 Volvo XC90 and the Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # TS76VR does include a plate for mounting it as well. They call it a socket mounting plate in the instructions. You will need to drill a hole through that plate to get a wiring harness through it though.
For the wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56285. This is a plug and play harness, though one wire does need to be run to your battery, so it is a pretty quick and easy install.
Since you are asking about the wiring, I assume you will not just be using this hitch for like a bike rack. What are you planning on towing?

I am not seeing the Tekonsha wiring harness on your site. Is there currently another harness that fits (in my case a 2024 xc90 t8 recharge)? Ideally with plug adapters rather than splice-in so fully removable later. Thanks

Hey Zach, how did things go with the Oris trailer hitch and the Tekonsha wiring harness on your XC90? Were you able to get the wiring routed through the socket mounting plate without any trouble? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar hitch.
