Will Installation of Oris Hitch on 2019 Volvo XC90 T6 Require Trimming/Interfere With Kick Sensor

Question:

Please advise if on the 2019 volvo XC90 T6 model if this hitch install requires trimming the bumper? Also does it block the trunk hatch foot open sensor?

Hi Clayborne; installation of the Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver # TS76VR will require trimming on your 2019 Volvo XC90 T6. It will not interfere with the hands free kick sensor. The trimming is underneath the bumper for the receiver to fit so it won't be visible. See the attached photos.

What will you be using the hitch for?

Thanks for your reply. Mostly it would be used for a bike rack. On occasion possibly a motorcycle or utility trailer.
