Hello David, thanks for getting in touch. For your 2024 Tesla Model Y I recommend the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH79QR. This has a 2" receiver and a 350 lb tongue weight capacity, so more than enough for your bike rack and two e-bikes.
To answer your other question, vertical load and tongue weight are the same thing in this application.
We offer installation services here at our shop in Wentzville Missouri. If this is too far for you, we may have a qualified installer in... view full answer...
Hey Josh,
I can get your 2024 Tesla Model 3 set up with a hitch, though the # e33ZR you asked about hasn't been confirmed as a fit for the '24 Tesla 3, so we'll need to go a different route. Reason for that is the '24 Model 3 got a bit of a redesign and it's just now getting into people's hands to see what hitches will fit.
So I went ahead and checked with our manufacturers to see what we could do for you, and found out that Stealth Hitches does have fits for the 2024 Model 3. They actually... view full answer...
When we have listed tongue weights, the tongue weight rating is the weight that a hitch can handle vertically pressing down on the receiver. This is the vertical weight/accessory rate rating you are asking for. The maximum gross trailer weight, on the other hand, is the horizontal weight of anything that is attached to the hitch (pulled from behind).
Since the tongue weight on the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76143 is 750 pounds, it will be able to accommodate a 375-pound... view full answer...
Hi Kalani; assuming I'm looking at the correct Aventon Aventure you need a bike rack capable of handling 77 lbs per bike. The closest option we have that includes everything you're looking for is the Thule Epos Bike Rack w/ LEDs for 2 Bikes # TH49XE. However, it has a max capacity of 140 lbs (75 lbs for 1 bike) so you're going to have to remove the batteries to carry the bikes.
This bike rack comes with locks for the bike rack and bikes, along with LED tail lights you will plug into a... view full answer...
Hey, Pierre!
You'll want to pick up Stealth Hitch part # 391TES317. This is a complete kit so will come with the hitch, all the hardware to install the hitch and wiring, the attachments to use it for towing or carrying a basket (like part # e98874) as well as tow a trailer.

Hello Andrei,
There isn't an axle we can offer as there aren't any that small we have, but you may be able to get a different hub. I couldn't find the bearing sizes of that axle to find a new hub so you'll have to do a bit of measuring. For that you will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them.
If you are unable to find them, you need to use a digital caliper... view full answer...
Hello Gilberto,
Thank you for the links, they were most helpful. The Tesla bike rack that you have is identical to the Yakima FullTilt 4. Yes, the Replacement ZipStrip Straps for Yakima Standard Bike Rack Cradles - Qty 2 # Y8890297 are the correct strap replacement.
What kind of bike do you have? Do you have a trail near by you like to ride? We have the Katy Trail here in Missouri, and it is always loaded with bikes! view full answer...
Hello again Kalani; the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric VFR Bike Rack # LGA25VR does not have a specific light and license plate kit. However, the same Curt # C53201 would work well with this bike rack. You can actually see the lights on the bike rack in the picture below from one of our customers. For a license plate bracket you could use the Yakima PlateMate License Plate Holder # Y02713 which can easily be attached with the included straps. view full answer...
Hey Fabian, I checked with EcoHitch just now and they verified that their hitch part # EH36SR that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid model. While we haven't the chance to install this on a 26' model yet I can guarantee it will fit as EcoHitch does not mess around with their fits. They for sure test fit and verified it. view full answer...
Hey Mike, great question! I reached out to Dometic and they said the Dometic Soft Start for FreshJet Mechanical Air Conditioners # DMC87RR is also compatible with the FreshJet 5. You can use this to add a soft start to your new AC unit.

At one point some of the hitches we offered did require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack but recently the one manufacturer that required this (Curt) decided it was not longer needed. So the EcoHitch you referenced part # EH84GR did not ever require the strap and currently still does not. This is the most hidden option we have has the lower hitch opening totally removes when not in use.

Yes, it does Marcus. Our etrailer item # e33ZR hitch does indeed fit the 2024 Tesla Model 3. We had a customer install one earlier this year on theirs.
The etrailer Hitch item # e33ZR is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 300 lbs. It comes with all the hardware you'll need to complete the installation.
What do you plan on using your new hitch for?

The Inno Ridge Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRA220R-BK will fit the OEM roof rack of your 2021 Tesla Model Y as long as the crossbars are between 20 and 30 inches apart. It looks like your spread is 35 inches though so a different box would be ideal like the # TH6356B would be what you'd want. view full answer...
Harold, for your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with a bare roof, I recommend going with the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # TH96KG.
These crossbars measure 60" long, works with your bare roof, and would be a great fit with a 2-kayak carrier like the Thule Compass Kayak Roof Rack w/ Tie-Downs # TH890000. view full answer...
Hey Anthony,
It looks like there's a proprietary pigtail wire harness (p1072586) to connect to the factory plug behind the trim on the driver's side and the brake controller's wire harness. From what I can find some people say that it's included and should be found in the glove box and others state that Tesla's completely against giving them out to Model Y owners. I would check to see if you have it and if not reach out to Tesla. There's a couple of videos out there where people have... view full answer...
Hi Denys; you must be referring to the factory reinforcement beam or the base plates. Removing these won't hurt anything and isn't uncommon for a hitch with this design. The instructions for the # 391TES317 actually allow for the reinstallation of the reinforcement beam after the hitch is attached. The base plates must be discarded if you do this but they're replaced by the brackets for the hitch. When the reinforcement beam is discarded the hitch takes its place. view full answer...
Hey Eric, the Stealth hitch part # 391TES317T that you referenced does have the tongue weight capacity for a dirt bike and motorcycle carrier as it has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity like you noted but you are only as strong as the weakest component in a towing setup so if your vehicle only a 160 lb tongue weight capacity that would be the overall capacity. What dirt bike do you have? view full answer...
Hi Yves,
There likely was a change between those model years that prevents the Curt hitch from fitting, but it could just also be that Curt hasn't been able to physically test the fit yet on that year and model. We unfortunately haven't either so the only option we can currently recommend is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391TES317. This would come with removable receiver tube that you could mount your bike rack to. The receiver tube has a 2" opening, which the most common... view full answer...
Hello Pete,
I have the perfect kayak carrier for your setup, the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Roof Rack w/ Tie-Downs (J-Style, Folding, Channel Mount) # TH849000.
While I don’t have a direct-fit database that confirms accessories for every vehicle, based on my research, your OEM Tesla Model Y crossbars are manufactured by Yakima and include integrated T-slots. That’s why the # TH849000 is an excellent choice, it mounts via the T-slot system rather than clamping around the bar, making... view full answer...
