Hello Don, thanks for reaching out. Problems with these plug and play harnesses like the Curt # C53MJ are not common, but there are a few things we can check. First make sure the fuses are fully inserted and seated. Also make sure the plug that goes to the factory harness is plugged in all the way. It's only hitch we have for your RDX but I won't lie to you and say it's super hidden as it's one of the more easy to see options we make which is odd for a newer vehicle like what you have. There could be a couple of reasons why your Curt Spectrum # C51170 is not calibrating, but it's likely due to your wiring. Even though you're using a plug in adapter # C51523, there still can be an issue with your vehicle wiring.
