Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Optronics sealed LED utility light. This is a sealed, waterproof LED utility light. It's small and compact. It's great for any place where you need some extra light. It features a surface mount design, mounting hardware not included.You'll notice that it has a nice clear lens, that's going to allow a lot of light to come through. It's got a black base on it.This light contains a total of two LEDs or two diodes.
LEDs are great replacements for incandescent lights, they last longer, they burn brights and they are much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.It includes a two wire design so you've got both lead and ground wires with the bullet style connectors on there. Those can be cut off for hardwired applications if needed.A few measurements to go over with you real quick and then we're going to hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some powering to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see in a low light setting.Edge to edge going this direction measures about two and a half inches. The over height is about 1 1/16 of an inch and the overall depth or thickness is about 11/16 of an inch thick.
The mount holes on the unite are separated on center by 1 15/16 of an inch.The black wire on this unit is our power wire, white wires is ground. So you can see here it sends out a nice consistent signal, a nice bright white light. Again two LEDs or two diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. When it comes to the power draw at 12.8 volts, we're looking at 0.020 amps.That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics sealed LED utility light.

Works fine and fit the OEM bolt pattern perfectly, I installed these on a Fire Truck rear hose bed ladder stanchion. These lights were hard to locate, and you came through.
Can't go wrong with LED... no more bulbs to smack when they don't work and forget to replace them afterwards
Cheaper than a ticket for defective equipment!
