Today, we'll be reviewing part number BD195351. This is the Bulldog Square Jack with footplate and has a fixed leg, side wide handle. It's going to provide 10 inches of lift, and it's rated at 5000 pounds. This does have a superior side load capacity when compared to round jacks. The outer and the inner tubes overlap for additional strength when the jack is fully extended, and also, the square design is going to help provide additional support when it comes to side loading. It has a really nice durable, long-lasting construction. We have a weather-resistant coating here on the outer tube, and on the inner tube, we have a zinc-plated finish that's going to help it stand up against corrosion. This side wind handle has a smooth ergonomic design for easy cranking, and then, the fixed leg jack welds directly to the application.
What you do is you would take it, match it up to your trailer, and then, you'd weld in position. Then, it's going to be ready to go. This does have a standard footplate that is included. This jack is also ASABE compliant. Now, when the jack is fully retracted, it's going to measure from the ground to the top of the jack 17-5/8 inches. When it's fully extended, that measurement increases to 27-5/8 inches, and if we subtract those 2 measurements, that's where we get our 10-inch lift from. Here on the outside on our outer tube, we have a tubing width of 2-1/4 inches, and our inner tubing is going to have a tubing width of right at 2 inches.
The handle radius measuring from the elbow here to the center of our handle is going to measure right at 6-1/2 inches. Now, this has a lift capacity of 3000 pounds with a static capacity of 5000 pounds. That's going to complete today's review of part number BD195351. We have been super-satisfied with our purchase. But we have adapted them for use in a different way;we are using them for raising and lowering seats on exercise machines in our Physical Therapy offices! These replaced our having to squat to manually pull the pin and then lift the seat to the proper height.
Have purchased this jack several times, works great!!
Seems ideal for its designed use: trailer jack. I will use my in my shop however and the base is not as stable (too small) as I need so I will weld a plate steel square base to it and it should be perfect for my needs.

Totally trouble-free. We converted the trailer jack to a seat lift on several exercise machines at our PT clinics. The jacks are each in service as many as 30 times a day, lifting and lowering seated patients to the correct height on the machines. No issues at all! PS: for an unknown reason my review shows 3 stars. This is wrongI was ecstatic how the conversion workedplease make sure my review shows 5 stars, then and now!
