Light Duty Trailer Tie Down Lashing Ring
Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Brophy Light-Duty D-ring Tie Down Anchor, part number SR10-C. This light-duty D-ring has a safe working load limit of 330 pounds, and a brake strength of 1000 pounds. It can be mounted in your trailer or truck bed. The opening on the D-ring is an inch and a half, as you can see, we've got plenty of room for our straps. It's made out of a sturdy steel construction, with a zinc plating, so it's going to resist rust and corrosion. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. You can mount this directly to you trailer with some wood screws, but it's going to be a lot stronger if you use bolts and a backing plate. So in conjunction today with our anchor point, we're going to be using a backing plate with part number BP12.
You will have to provide your own hardware, we're just using some bolts long enough to get through our trailer. We've already got some holes drilled out there, so we're just going to line it up, and then push our hardware through. You want to make sure to put your ring down first, and then your mounting plate on top of it, that way it can move freely. Let's go ahead and put our hardware through, and then we can go underneath and install the backing plate. Now, as you can see, we have multiple holes for different mounting brackets, we're just going to use the two in the center since they line up with our bolts. Then, we're just going to use some lock washers, we'll put the nut in place, and then put the other one in place.
You'll just want to be sure to use lock washers or locking nuts. When we tighten this down, it's not a bad idea to get an extra set of hands, to have somebody hold the bolt up top. With our backing plate installed, our D-ring anchor point is nice and secure. With our cargo secure, we can get on the road. That's going to complete our look at the Brophy Light-Duty D-ring Tie Down Anchor, part number SR10-C.

I have been looking for this particular type of product for a few weeks. I have looked pretty much everywhere I could think of. I saw this product and compared the price to other similar products. Given the lower price of this product I was a little hesitant to purchase until I read the reviews. I am very glad I read the reviews and am more than pleased with the quality of items received. I installed these on the sideboards I have on my Silverado (please see attached photos). I usually do not right reviews on products but felt I should take the time to review this one. Thanks etrailer.com for the excellent product and super fast shipping. David B. from North Carolina.
Exactly what I was looking for. Brand new v-nose enclosed cargo trailer without any way to stabilize items inside. All I was looking for were simple points to attach straps, bungees..... whatever, just to keep items from shifting. No real requirement for heavy-weight tie downs.
It is what it is, excellent
These tie-down rings are perfect for securing accessories, tools, boxes, etc in my cargo trailer. When screwed into the metal frame of the interior I am confident that my cargo will stay where I put it and be very secure.
The trailer door hinges and latch system have been on my custom trailer for well over a year and a half. They function great and still look like new. Great products and would certainly buy them again. Also the shipment and correctness of the order was perfect. My follow up orders of several accessories were also handled in a totally professional way and the products were equally high quality.
Nice, straight-forward, little tie down loops. I bolted 6 of these around the sides of my little utility trailer. :)
These tie down anchors are just what I needed. They are well made and the price couldn't be beat. I received my product in great condition and in a timely manner. I'm very pleased with my overall experience.
Mounted low on the walls of my enclosed trailer about every two feet to bungee light items to the sides. Helped keep things from sliding around in the trailer. Right price and a simple, useful, easy to mount product. etrailer.com had the best price and very fast shipping!
I put several of these along both sides of the trailer making sure that the screws went through the upright supports of the trailer instead of just relying on the plywood to hold them and they are extremely strong. I have yet to have one pull loose. A great product at a super price!
These d-ring anchors are the perfect light duty tie down points. They are excellent quality at a low cost. I'm using mine on a pontoon boat as tie down points for my cover srtaps.
Great item, heavy duty. These will make securing loads on my trailer much easier
Spectacular customer service. My package had been opened and these tie downs had been lost. I reported that I would purchase them again with my next order, but etrailer sent me replacements before I could order even though it was not their fault.
What a classy operation!
I have ordered many items for my utility trailer from etrailer and found everything top quality and their service the best. As with everything else the tie downs I ordered were just what I wanted. I could not be more satisfied.
Excellent product. Installed them inside a box trailer to serve as hold downs and they worked very well. Quite sturdy!
We use the anchors in a marching band equipment trailer to secure everything from drum cases to uniform carts. Works very well and not in the way when not being used. We are thinking about adding more for convenience.

Tie downs. The team was excellent. Although one of the three items I ordered was not in stock, they made sure to ship the items I needed for family camping trip and communicated that via e mail. Great job, thanks, and I got my tie downs soon afterward.
I was very happy with the first 6 of these I bolted to the frame of my trailer. I decided I could use 5 more, so I bought 'em. Cheap and effective.
