This locking carrier lets you safely and securely transport 3 short surfboards or 2 long surfboards on your vehicle's roof rack. The carrier is easy to load and use with integrated straps and ratcheting hand knobs. Adjustable pads on the straps and rubber padding on the carrier base protect your boards during transport. The Locker installs easily with clamp-on hardware.
The carrier is easy to use and easy to load. There are 2 long straps that stretch over your surfboards and secure to 2 short straps. Connect the wire loops on the short straps to the hooks on the ends of the long straps.
Slide your boards onto the padded bars under the connected straps, then tighten down the straps with the ratcheting knobs.
When it's time to remove your cargo, lift the tension release levers under the covers to loosen the straps and unhook them.
Rubber coating on the straps and adjustable corner pads help to protect your boards from scratches and scuffs during transport. Integrated rubber padding on the carrier base also adds protection for your boards.
The carrier is simple to install and requires no tools. It clamps easily with included hardware to most crossbars. To install, flip the cam lever on the mounting clamp to loosen the bolt and release it from the lower mounting bracket. Slide the bracket under the crossbar and reattach the bolt to the bracket. Tighten the knob and close the lever.
Adapters are included for mounting the carrier on different crossbar styles. Adapter blocks let you mount the carrier to round or square crossbars. Rubber pads are also included for use when mounting the carrier to aero, elliptical, or factory crossbars.
Four locking covers secure your boat or boards to the carrier and the carrier to your crossbars. With the covers locked and closed the ratcheting knobs cannot be turned and the tension-release levers cannot be accessed to loosen the straps. The locked covers also deny access to the mounting hardware so the carrier cannot be removed from your crossbars.

It's so convenient to take my surfboard and other equipment like ladders for my work on and off with this system. It's reassuring to know that they are safely secured on the highway without any additional hassle with ropes or other tie-downs.
Really useful and easy to put your board in and out.
Great product
Just used them for the first time, wish I knew of these years ago. Boards are held in place securely and extremely easy to secure using the ratcheting mechanism. The crane is a fantastic idea, wasn't sure at first but it raises the back cable enough so the board can slip under it. No more going to the other side of the car to pass the strap under and over, as one must do with buckle style straps. Great product and recommend to all surfers looking for an upgrade to a faster system to secure boards to roof racks with some built in security. Thank You INNO.
I gotta say these make surfing prep a much easier experience. There is a bit of a learning curve during the first installation but once you figure it out it’s fairly simple.
I owned one 5 years ago. I sold the car and ordered another. The quality of the first one was better. This one took over 7 months to arrive. The winding tie down is very cheap and I already have trouble with it. they are not easy and at times get stuck. They are not as well made as the prior tie downs inno had.
Good product. The Inno Board Locker is a quality surf rack and it is straightforward in its installation and use. It is easy to put the boards on the rack and holds them very securely while travelling. I did have a small problem when installing them on my 2019 Subaru Forester with factory crossbars. The crossbars have thicker end pieces on them to attach to the raised rails. These thicker parts are just far enough apart to make mounting the surf rack difficult. I had to mount one end of the rack on the thicker part and the other end on the thinner aero crossbar. The Inno rack is just a bit too wide to mount in between the end pieces on the thinner crossbar iteslf. And it is a bit too narrow to mount on the thicker end pieces. It would be nice if the rack had adjustable end pieces so we could move the ends in/out to compensate for that difference. The INA466 might be a better choice because it doesnt come with a crossbar so the ends of the rack could be moved in/out slightly to accomodate this.
The Inno INA 744 arrived on time and in excellent condition. It fits my factory crossbars like a champ. Easy installation and working with etrailer was professional and a breeze. My long board surfboards fit nicely. Will definitely order from etrailer again!
Great racks. Easy install. Videos posted on e-trailer were helpful and realistic.
I do love the carrier. It is super easy to use which makes it better than many of the household name carrier on the market. 5 stars.
Best carrier we ever used. Secure, holds mutiple boards, simple to use. Everything you could ask for in a carrier.
