Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today we're gonna take a look at the Superwinch half-inch diameter synthetic rope shackle, has a 12,666 pound working load limit. Now this is a nice, lightweight, synthetic rope shackle that'll replace the heavy duty steel shackle or the D-ring that used for off-road winch recoveries. Basically you just wrap this around your roll bar, your axle, or other point of attachment to create an anchor. You can use as a connecting link between your rope hook and a tree saver strap, tow strap, or other straps and it is very easy to use. Basically, you just wrap it around your anchor point. First we'll go ahead and take it off the knot here and see if you push that through and you can take it off there.
Then you can wrap this around your anchor point, take your loop in, open it up, put it over the knot end, and then once you get it over your knot end, just go ahead and pull this tight and it'll give you a good connection point. It is a half-inch diameter synthetic rope. There's no pins that you gotta fasten, they won't rust or corrode. You can see it has a nice blue light color. Few specs on this again, the application is wire or synthetic rope winch recoveries.
Rope diameter, again is 1/2 an inch, maximum load or break strength is 38,000 pounds and your working load limit would be 12,666 pounds. But again, you can see just by opening this loop up and put it over there, and then you have your shackle there, and then once you open this loop up, put it over the knot, that'll tighten up and give you your connection point. But that should do it for the review on the Superwinch half-inch diameter synthetic rope shackle with the 12,666 pound working load limit..
