Will this work with a 7-8ft surfboard? Do you have the accessories or different arms to fit a smaller board? Thank you.

When determining if the Lockrack Adjustable Stand-Up Paddle Board Carrier - 1 SUP # LR47FR works with your 7-8 foot surfboard, it really depends on the width of the board. With the Lockrack, this carrier can accommodate boards between 22-41 inches wide. If you have a board that is thinner than 22 inches, we do not carry shorter arms for the Lockrack carrier.

If you have a thinner board, I recommend using a surfboard model that sandwiches the board with a tightening mechanism. For this route, I recommend using the Inno Board Locker # INA744. With the Board Locker, this carrier accommodates boards up to 23-1/2 inches wide, so it is great for thinner boards. As far as compatibility with your crossbars, it fits crossbars that do not exceed 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/8" tall. The tightening mechanism on the Board Locker is much more secure than the Lockrack. It also has the benefit of locking covers for theft-deterrence. I went ahead and attached a video that shows how the Board Locker tightens around your board.
