Hello, Im interested the INA744. My Jeep Patriot has side bars but no cross bars. Would this work?

In order to use the Inno Board Locker Surfboard Carrier part # INA744 on your Jeep Patriot with raised side rails you would need a set of crossbars. Unfortunately, none of our watersport carriers are designed to attach directly to the raised side rails. Generally speaking, almost all rooftop carriers are designed to attach to crossbars for the exception of some ski carriers and cargo bags.

For your Jeep Patriot, I recommend using the Inno Square Crossbar Roof Rack System part # INB117 and part # INFR. This is an excellent system for you that is offered at a very economical price. In addition to using the above surfboard carrier, you can also use any rooftop accessory that works with square crossbars. The roof rack comes with locks for added security.
