Absolutely made wiring my car for my trailer hitch super easy
The hitch and wiring kit showed up on time as stated. Installed with the videos on line. Probably 2 hours max for the total installation. I really like the install videos and showing each hitch installed to pick the correct one out. This install was shown to keep as much clearance and keep the hitch more hidden. Great set up. 2018 VW Tiguan
Works really well, replaced an ebay unit that did not fit with this unit.

Love it. Follow the instruction videos and you can't go wrong. Although, due to the US tarrifs, I will be shopping Canadian or overseas from now on.
The Tekonsha part works great. I own a VW and "trailer" turn signals hyperflash when car headlights are on. Yet all other light modes work fine. Turn headlights off 100% perfect. It's a VW computer thing. The Curt was worse.

I finally rid myself of hyperflash issue. I traded VW in on 22 Nissan Frontier ready to tow. Product was great but VW is a problem to wire for electric brakes. Needs an additional $xxx factory module....maybe. Nobody would help me with it. Not etrailers fault. As A Mechanic VW computer systems and wiring are very complex. Not for the novice. Dealer would not even help me with it. Never again VW. Again product was great and so is etrailer. It is a VW issue.

Excellent product, almost all plug n play. Clearly gaining access to the connections and running the primary to the battery are the biggest obstacles.
Watch the videos and read the reviews before you buy. If it sounds beyond your skillset it probably is.
For me, popping the panels proved easy. I managed to not break anything. All the provided wiring reached where it was supposed to.
I followed the advice of another review suggesting that the primary be run thru the vehicle cabin along and under the trim. Then I found an access hole in the engines firewall where other wires passed thru a rubber grommet. I actually uncurled a metal hanger, guided it thru from cabin to engine compartment, connected the provided primary wire and pulled it back thru.
My vehicle’s underbody has a full length cover/shield, which without a lift would have been awful to deal with.

I bought this for our 2018 Tiguan and it works great. The instructions were well thought out and easy to follow. Included everything I needed in materials to complete the job. I would however recommend running the main power wire through the cabin instead of using zip-ties to the bottom of the car. It provides a cleaner install and there are plenty of vides to follow for this. total time it took was a few hours taking my time with routing it inside.
Great products! Ordered the Curt trailer hitch receiver, T-One Wiring Harness, and accessores on Wednesday; they arrved Friday, and I installed them on Saturday. Everything fit perfectly. I plan to use the hitch mostly for bikes, but decided to add the wirng harness just incase I need to pull a small trailer.

Great product and worked perfectly. Installation on my vehicle was a little different but I was able to make it work.
Seems to work as advertised. Seems to be a quality product Install was a bit of a hassle but not too bad. I recommend watching the video for the CURT wiring. Easier to follow than the fuzzy pictures and less than perfect printed instructions that came with the Tekonsha harness.

If you do not have 60% knowledge in mechanics, please see a dealer. For me, it only only took me 2 hours to install the harness. Just follow the instructions.
This harness was a great purchase. Install was straight forward. Instructions excellent. It is the second such harness I have installed, one on a 2018 Tiguan and one on a 2022. Great product and great company!!

Very easy to install, plug and play. I ran the wire to the battery through the interior of the car and through the firewall. A lot cleaner and pretty simple. There’s a plug in the firewall where the clutch pedal would be, made it easy
