When the rear sags under a heavy trailer or bed load, steering and braking can get sketchy. These SumoSprings Solo helper springs add up to 1,000 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to keep your ride level and steady. They back up your factory suspension so weight stays balanced across both axles, which means better traction, smoother handling, and headlights that stay aimed where they should.
Rough roads and uneven loads don’t have to beat you up. These microcellular urethane springs compress progressively—soft at first for light loads and firming up as weight increases. That smooths out bumps and reduces bottoming out without making the unloaded ride harsh. The closed-cell material also damps vibration so your ride stays comfortable mile after mile.
When side winds or sharp turns try to push you around, these springs work independently to keep each side planted. They help cut down body roll and sway so the vehicle feels more stable on highways, ramps, and uneven ground. Off-center loads are handled with less lean and less drama behind the wheel.
These springs are made from rugged microcellular urethane that resists abrasion, oils, road salts, and UV rays. They handle temperatures from -25 F to 200 F and compress vertically with minimal side expansion so they fit safely even in tight spots. No air lines, tubing, or adjustments needed—just solid, maintenance-free support that’s always ready for the next haul.
You don’t need air compressors or fancy tools to add serious load support. The kit includes two jounce-style springs that bolt into place with a simple no-drill install. Once mounted, they’re always there working quietly in the background every time you hook up the trailer or load the bed.

The springs are working exactly as expect. I have need up to the mountains numerous times and to Monerary to the Sea Otter bike fest. They have reduced the body roll and helped keep the truck stable on the mountain roads or when loaded down for camping. Im very pleased I added these Sumo Springs to my Tacoma.

Glad to hear they are helping, Cory! If you are feeling them going over speed bumps, I think taking one of the spacers out is a good idea. Especially if that is happening when you are unloaded. Speaking of which, what are you towing?
