Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the TecNiq recessed mount, mini amber LED, side marker trailer light. Now, this is a small, round LED light that'll serve as a side marker and clearance light for your trailer. Does use a nice sealed weatherproof housing and lens unit, and it does have an IP 68 rating. Does use the military-grade construction of the circuit board.

Uses urethane potting which offers better protection than the common epoxy potty. The LED is a premium LED. It's energy efficient, long-lasting and vibration resistant. And it is rated for up to 100,000 hours of operation. The lens is a durable UV resistant lens, and it is a clear lens over an amber, one amber LED.

And this is compatible with 12 volt DC system. It is a recessed mount installation. Comes with the included grommet, and it does require a 3/4 inch diameter cut-out for this light to fit into. We do also offer a stainless steel trim ring if you might want a nice finished look on it. We do sell that separately on our website and it is listed on this product page as a related product.

The wire harness on this is a two-wire harness. It'll hardwire to your application. It includes a ground wire and a power wire. The wire length on this is about 18 inches. And this is a PC-rated light, which will produce 180 degree beam when properly installed.

And it does meet or exceed the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Now, I am gonna hook this up to some power just to show you how bright it is. But before I do that, I wanna give you some dimensions. The diameter on this is right at one inch. Total depth, front to back is right at 7/8 of an inch. Input voltage, nine volts to 14 volts. And the power draw, .03 to .06 amps. So again, what we're gonna do is we're gonna go ahead and hook up our two wires. And once we got them hooked up here, go ahead and turn on our power. And with the power on, you'll be able to see the amber LED light. So, I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights so you get a better view of it, and you can see how bright it is. And it is a clear lens with an amber LED. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Turn off our power.
