Replacement Hardware Bag for Yakima Fairing

I guess it's excellent because it is what it is... like... if you have a yakima fairing you kind of need the mounts.
Fairing looks nice and it does reduce wind noise. I don't think the fairing helped with my gas mileage though- I do have a pretty significant reduction in highway mileage with the roof rack on.
The mounts (what I ordered) are for round bars and secure similar to other yakima accessories- two mounts are attached with a sort of screw and the two center mounts are simply clipped in place. The kit comes with some rubber pads that prevent the mounts from rubbing the paint off your roof. The fairing is held on with some plastic fasteners that are just pressed in- these seem like they could break easy and indeed the ones that came with my fairing were all snapped off.
Pretty easy to install... go ahead and get these if you're like me and your old mounts became brittle and snapped.576213

The Yakima rack is working fine. I also use it to transport my kyak to the lake.
