When temps drop, you don't want to deal with your equipment fighting you. This custom-fit block heater warms coolant to prevent gelling, reduces cold-start wear, and keeps your Caterpillar and Perkins engines ready for winter work.
Last winter, cold mornings meant slow cranks and long warm-ups. This block heater keeps coolant warm so your engine starts quick and avoids the wear that cuts engine life. At 600 watts/120 volts, it delivers steady heat for reliable starts and faster warm-ups without the long idle.
Universal heaters can be a headache because they often require modification, but this one is made for a range of Caterpillar and Perkins industrial engines. It replaces a threaded plug on the engine for optimal heat transfer. That means no trial and error or modifying parts to fit, just a straightforward install. If you don't know your engine model or engine number, you can find it on the metal data plate or sticker located on the side of the engine block. On Caterpillar engines this is often on the side with the valve pump or near the valve cover. If you can't find the metal data plate, it may be stamped into the engine block. Perkins engines numbers start with 2 letters (engine family) followed by digits (engine type). It is the engine type you need to find. This information is found on the metal data plate. You can confirm fit by looking at the Compatible Engines list in the Specs section below.
