Light changes how your ProMaster feels inside. Without it, the rear quarter side panel section stays dark and harder to use. This fixed side panel window replaces that solid section with glass, so you get more daylight and a clear view outside.
This window replaces the solid metal panel in the rear quarter position on the passenger side of your 2014-2026 Ram ProMaster 159-inch extended wheelbase van. Instead of a blank section along the rear portion of the cargo area, you gain a fixed glass panel that adds visibility and natural light without introducing vents or moving parts. That section stays sealed while opening up the side of the van.
When you drive over bumps or uneven pavement, the body of the van moves slightly. The glass in this panel moves with the surrounding metal, which helps reduce stress at the edges and lowers the chance of cracking. To handle that movement, this window uses tempered safety glass that meets DOT and SAE standards for road use.
The rear quarter side panel window sits at eye level from outside and creates a direct sightline into the cargo space. The 17% gray tint limits how much someone can see inside while still allowing visibility out. It also blocks 83% of UV rays, reducing sun exposure through that section of glass.
Cutting into the rear quarter side panel is permanent. The glass has to match the factory contour so the urethane seals evenly against the body. This window follows the original stamping profile, so when it is set into place, the edge matches the panel you just opened up.
After the opening is cut, a continuous bead of automotive urethane (VW74ZR - sold separately) is applied around the perimeter. When the glass is set into place, that urethane bonds it to the body panel and forms the seal that keeps water from entering the wall cavity. This bond secures the glass and creates the weather barrier so you can bring in light without adding a vented opening.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Van Windows Direct fixed rear quarter side window for the passenger side of your 2014 through current year Ram ProMaster 3500 vans, or the 159 inch extended wheel base. So folks, make sure you're double checking the fit guide, be sure you're getting the right parts the very first time. As you can see from that image and the glass itself, you do have a lower cutout here to go around that sliding door it looks like as far as where that track is. So make sure you're double checking to be sure you're getting the right piece of glass for your needs.
So if you're converting that ProMaster into a camper, maybe a mobile workspace or an adventure van, this rear section can feel pretty dark pretty easily when you're surrounded by all those metal panels. So this window will replace that metal and bring in more natural light. It's gonna help open up the van, make it feel larger, more spacious, those kind of things. It does a great job of reflecting light. As you can see, it's reflecting the studio lights in here.
It's got a 17% gray tint, and that's gonna block out most UV rays, about 83% of them to be exact. And this is a tempered safety glass so you can be sure it meets all DOT and SAE standards, and it follows the factory stamping of that ProMaster van like we we inchesre just looking at. Now, as far as the inside, you can kind of see it's got the contour that matches the van. From the inside looking out, you can see it looks a little different, right So it's kind of looking with a pair of shades or sunglasses on. You can see out pretty good, but someone cannot see in just as well.
And obviously this exterior part here in the dark black, you're not seeing anything through that, you're just seeing through that section. So this part here is usually gonna be sealed up with a urethane. So you're gonna wanna purchase separately if you don't already have some, automotive-grade black urethane. That's gonna do a couple of things. It's gonna be the seal that actually holds it in place, but also keeps out the water, the moisture and those kind of things.
We also carry caulk guns, sealing tape, primer, and all those kind of things separately as well if you need them. Now, all that being said, you may be like, "Hey Steven, I'm not cutting through my van metal." No problem. I totally understand it. It's not for everybody. You can simply scroll down on the product page, usually beneath the product photo set, and there should be a link that says something to the effect of install locator or installation location link. Click on that link. Based on your zip code, we can help pair you up with trusted etrailer installation locations in your area that can get the job done for you. Well folks, that's gonna wrap up our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.
