This soft topper gives you cab-height coverage for tall gear without committing your truck to a hard shell. Fold or remove it when you need your whole bed, or add a JayBar ladder rack to the same rails when you need to carry long gear overhead.
Some loads simply don't fit underneath a tonneau cover. The Fas-Top Solo gives camping gear, hunting gear, bikes, stacked bins, and other tall cargo cab-height coverage without putting a hard shell on your truck. Because it weighs less than a hard topper, it also uses less of your truck's available payload. The aluminum X-frame folds down into the sling in less than a minute, or you can remove the topper by releasing 4 corner latches and pulling 2 pins when you need to use your whole bed or tow with a 5th-wheel or gooseneck hitch.
Kayaks, ladders, and lumber can take up most of your truck bed before you load coolers, tools, camping gear, and everything else you're bringing with you. You can find the compatible ladder rack here: Fas-Top JayBar ladder rack (FT79MJ - sold separately). Add it to carry long gear above your bed while the topper keeps the rest covered below. The JayBar and Solo use the same Fas-Top rails, so the rack mounts above the topper instead of replacing it.
The model-specific Fas-Top rails come with the Solo and clamp to your truck's bed rails without drilling or welding. Installation only requires a 9/16" wrench or socket and a tape measure. Built-in utility tracks give the compatible JayBar ladder rack and other Fas-Top accessories a place to mount.
The Solo gives you cab-height coverage for taller gear, but you don't always need the full topper. When you're carrying tools, coolers, luggage, or other gear that fits below your bed rails, remove the Solo and install the compatible Fas-Top soft roll-up tonneau cover (FT88NV - sold separately) on the same Fas-Top rails. You get lower-profile coverage without the bulk of the topper and restore your view out the back of the cab. When you need room for taller gear again, remove the tonneau cover and put the Solo back on.
The Solo comes with clear front and rear windows. If you're camping in your truck bed, traveling with pets, or carrying gear that needs more ventilation, replace the clear rear window with the mesh rear window (FT49CV - sold separately).
If you have luggage, tools, camping gear, or other cargo you don't want visible through the back of the topper, the blackout rear window (FT43UV - sold separately) replaces the clear rear window with an opaque panel.
