You sure can, Dave. On your 2025 Silverado 1500 (or GMC Sierra 1500) with the 6-1/2' bed, the # FT42MV is the stand-alone tonneau, and when you’re ready to add a topper to those same rails, you’ll want the # FT26TV Solo Topper Add-On. The # FT26TV is the topper that’s specifically made to mount to the existing # FT42MV tonneau rails - no re-installing rails or clamps on the truck.

If you don’t have a tonneau yet and want a topper by itself, that’s when you’d choose the # FT44EV Solo Topper (stand-alone with its own rails). And if later you decide you want a tonneau on that # FT44EV setup, you’d add the # FT88NV tonneau add-on to those topper rails.

Are you leaning toward starting with the # FT42MV and adding # FT26TV later, or going straight to a topper first?
