Question:
Can I keep the Fas-Top FT44EV topper on my 2025 Silverado 1500 6-1/2' bed when I add the JayBar FT97MJ rack, or do I have to remove it?

Hey Kevin, you can absolutely keep the Fas-Top # FT44EV topper shell on your 2025 Silverado 1500 while adding the JayBar # FT97MJ. The rack is made to bolt directly into the side tracks of the topper or tonneau rails, so both systems work together without interference. You actually can't even install the JayBar ladder rack without first having a tonneau cover or topper from Fas-Top already installed since that is the base for the JayBar. You’ll still be able to open and retract the topper normally - the rack crossbars sit higher than the fabric frame.
Are you planning to haul gear like kayaks or a rooftop tent? You may end up wanting the optional side bars # FT98GJ too.
