  • Recommended Adapters for 50 Amp RV to Alternative Connection
There are many adapters that can work for you but not the 20 amp to 50 amp. For a 15 amp to 50 amp, use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male # A10-1550 or the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 15 Amp Male to 50 Amp Female - Detachable # A10-1550DAVP. For the 30 amp to 50 amp conversion, you can use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 30 Amp Male to 50 Amp Female - Detachable # A10-3050DAVP or the Mighty Cord Dogbone RV Power Cord Adapter...

  • Does 50 Amp RV Connector have Three or Four Blades/Prongs
There are a few different 50 amp style connectors. The ones for RV applications use the 240 volt twist lock style of 50 amp outlet (NEMA L6-50) a lot which has three prongs whereas the 120 volt style of 50 amp connector you are thinking of that has 4 prongs is the NEMA 14-50 and is commonly seen for electric ovens.

  • Is There A Difference Between The Mighty Cord # A10-1550DAVP And # A10-1550D90VP
No, the only differences between the Mighty Cord # A10-1550DAVP and # A10-1550D90VP are the lengths and angle of the connector. The # A10-1550DAVP is solely just the connectors with no cable and the # A10-1550D90VP just comes with a cable and 90 degree bend to help prevent the cable from getting bent while plugged into the RV. Most people prefer the # A10-1550D90VP because of the 90 degree bend so that's what I would recommend for your situation.

  • 50 Amp Twistlock Female to 15 Amp Male Adapter Recommendation
Instead of using two adapter the part # A10-1550DAVP would be a better option as it goes from a 50 amp twist lock female to 15 amp male like you need. Of if you wanted a longer setup the part # A10-1550D90VP is 12 inches long and has a 90 degree elbow. For a straight connector we have the part # A10-1550DVP.

  • Connecting 50 Amp RV to 15 Amp Outlet At Storage Facility for Keeping Batteries Charged
Yes, we can help with that, there is an array of plug adaptors available. Without seeing the exact plug on your cord, I think what you need is the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug, # A10-1550DAVP. This is a 50 amp female to 15 amp male adaptor. There is also the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter witha twist lock, # A10-1550DVP. This too is a 50 amp female to 15 amp male adaptor. I suggest using a quality heavy duty extension cord with these to minimize resistance. Please note...

  • Can I Power The RV Slides Of My Keystone Montana High Country 5th Wheel 2014 From My Home
Yes, you will be able to open your rv slides with the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 50 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male - Round, part # A10-1550DAVP. You will not have enough power draw to run everything in your 5th wheel, but it should be enough to power your slides and possibly some lights, while you are recharging your battery. I have included a video demo link below.

  • Can 50 Amp Female Twist Lock Plug Be Removed From Mighty Cord Adapter # A10-1550D90VP
The 50 amp female twist lock portion of the Mighty Cord 90-Degree RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-1550D90VP is molded to the cord and can't be taken off (unless of course you were to simply cut it). The closet option we have to what you are looking for is the Mighty Cord # A10-1550DAVP. This isn't a 90-degree plug but it is just the 50 amp female twist lock outlet by itself with a 15 amp male plug on the other side. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.

  • Is it Okay to Convert a Female Plug on an RV to a Male Plug
There really isn't any problem or concerns with swapping a female plug to a male plug of any amperage rating. You will of course ensure you follow the instructions for the plug that you decide on to ensure you've connected the correct wire to the corresponding plug attachment point to avoid any issues. For instance the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug part # A10-P30VP would be a fine replacement for the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug part # A10-R30VP. I have linked the...

  • 30 Amp Male Plug To Three 15 Amp Female Plug Adapter Needed
Hi Terence, We currently only offer adapters with a 30 amp male plug and one single 15 amp outlet, like the # A10-3015HVP. The 30 amp male to 3 15 amp outlets style adapter you're looking for would be a common find in the electrical department of your local home improvement store though.
