Forget about swapping bulbs or drawing too much power. This round 4-1/8" diameter light uses a single LED that draws only 0.25 amps for stop/turn and 0.007 amps for tail functions at 12.8V. It’s more efficient than incandescent lights and built to last, with a lifetime warranty on the LED itself and a 3-year warranty on the housing and lens.
Getting that clean factory look is easy with this recessed-mount design. The light fits into a grommet (A45GB – sold separately) for a snug, finished appearance that sits flush with your trailer body. If cutting a hole isn’t an option, you can use the BK45BB bracket (sold separately) to mount it externally while still using the same grommet. Either way, it fits solidly and looks sharp once installed.
You don’t have to second-guess visibility or compliance on the highway. This light meets DOT, FMVSS 108, and CMVSS 108 standards, so it delivers the correct brightness and signal function every time you hit the brakes or make a turn. It’s built to perform safely under real-world conditions mile after mile.

Today we're going to be reviewing part number STL003RMB. This is the ONE Series, Submersible LED Trailer Light from Optronics. The round trailer taillight is going to serve three functions. It's going to function as your stop light, your tail light, and your turn signal light. It's going to feature a sonically-sealed waterproof housing, as well as a lens unit, so it is submersible. The ONE Series provides bright light using fewer diodes when compared to other LED lights. It features durable surface mount technology when it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board.
What that means is it's going to better withstand shock and vibration, and it's going to allow for improved heat distribution. LED systems are going to make great replacements for incandescent lights. They're going to last about 50 times longer, they're going to be much more efficient, and you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, or burned out filaments. When it comes to the lens and the housing, it's made from a polycarbonate construction. It's going to have the nice red lens with the white housing. This is designed to be a recessed mount installation, with a mounting grommet, and hardware.
Those items are sold separately, you can find those here on our website. The plug here on the back is designed as a weather tight connection point. It's going to require adapter part number AL45PWTB. That part is sold separately, and it is required to work with an industry standard 3-prong plug. This light is Department of Transportation compliant. It meets FMVSS108 requirements and CMVSS108 requirements for automotive lighting. We're going to take a measurement of the diameter, that's going to give us a measurement of about 4 inches.
Optronics is going to put a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. That adapter that I mentioned is going to look like this. It plugs into the plug here on the back, again, this is going to be sold separately, and it snaps into place for a nice tight, secure connection. Now we can go ahead and hook up our 3-prong plug. Then we'll be able to turn off our overhead lights. You can see here it sends out a really nice consistent signal.
This is going to be the taillight function, and then when we apply our brakes, you can see how the light brightens up. It's going to do that same function when we apply our turn signal. Used these lights to upgrade to LED on my triple Axel equipment trailer. Lights are nice and bright. Would have given 5 stars except that since I have ordered these lights I have been bombarded with trailer light advertisements that just won't quit.
I replaced the burned out light on the horse trailer. Very easy to install....Pull the old light out of the rubber casing, unplug, and reverse directions for installation....No Tools Needed!!!

Lights worked perfect for my flatbed light upgrade,great price and this company has a nice easy to use website, i only wish they came with a gasket to go between the light and the mounting surface , but with that being said not all builds need to be water tight so i still guve it five stars
Doesn’t come with wiring harness, I was able to find a wiring harness plug that worked on Amazon that was much cheaper than what was quoted from a trailer.
It worked for my burnt out light.I had to adjust some parts of the plug in but fit was perfect and changing to led lights are much brighter.
