Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Dexter Tow Assist Indicator Light. It has two built-in LED lights inside, and this is an external mounted part. Now, this is designed as a replacement indicator light for the Dexter Tow Assist System. It gives you, it restores full function and driver visibility.

And it gives you a at-a-glance status, meaning the exterior LED lights will mount where you can see them, whether through your mirror. That way you always know that your tow assist is active and working. It has a nice Deutsch connector here that you would plug in. And then you have two self-tapping screws here for mounting it through the screw holes, along with a 3M adhesive tape and foam backing here for support as well. So, this does give you start-up diagnostics, meaning it's gonna display some codes at start-up giving you early notice of any issues before you hit the road.

And again, that light being visible is gonna show you that you are powered on and ready to go when the time comes. And this does work with their Tow Assist app to share live assist information while you're driving as well.
