  • Mounting Hole Size for A-Frame Trailer Jacks
The mounting hole dimensions of A-frame jacks are a standard 3 inches apart on center, so you will need to weld your new jack on. I highly recommend the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B, which has a 5,000 lb capacity and will give you 15" of lift. It has an outer tube diameter of 2-1/4" and sidewind handle; for a footplate you would want # JF-99. This jack has been highly praised by our customers. I've added links to video reviews of this jack for you to take a look at as well.

  • Trailer Jack Replacement Recommendation for 2002 Bantam B19
I looked up your trailer and found that it's a standard A-frame trailer so for a jack the # TJA-5000S-B which is a very popular option would fit and work well. It's a sidewind trailer jack with a 5,000 lb capacity.

  • Trailer Jack to Avoid Tailgate Clearance Issues
There are a few solutions for your tailgate to clear the jack on your trailer. I recommend to use a longer ball mount like # D-26, that would move the trailer back further away from the truck and give you clearance you need. If you know what size the hitch on your vehicle is, the rise or drop of the ball mount for your trailer, if you're using weight distribution or not, and the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole I can make the best recommendation...

  • Hardware Typically Used to Install A-Frame Trailer Jack
You can use three 3/8-16 grade 5 bolts to install the etrailer jack # TJA-5000S-B or any other style A-frame jack; though we do not carry the hardware it is available at any hardware store. I attached an install video for this jack for you to check out as well.

  • Size of Bolt Needed for A-Frame Jacks
The etrailer and Pro Series A frame jacks will use 3/8 inch bolts, which is the standard size for A frame jacks and couplers. For install details and some product demonstration videos, click the provided links.

  • Availability of 5,000 lb Sidewind A-Frame Jack
We actually only have one jack that fits all of those requirements. That is the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack # TJA-5000S-B. This is a sidewind jack with a lift capacity of 3,000 lbs and support capacity of 5,000 lbs. I wouldn't expect the jack to fail as long as you're using it as intended. If you are on enough of a slope and all of the weight of your trailer shifts to the jack you will likely have a problem. Make sure to use wheel chocks like # 288-02011-2 and leveling blocks like # A10-0920...

  • Can Round Tube A-Frame Jack Replace a Square Tube Jack
Hey Darcy, yes a round A-Frame trailer jack like the part # TJA-5000S-B like what you referenced would work in place of a square tube a-frame jack as the mounting brackets are the exact same. Did your old jack fail or get hard to crank?

  • What Might Cause 12 Volt 7-Way Circuit to Blow When Using Powered Trailer Jack
Is the jack overloaded which is causing the excessive amperage draw? What jack do you have? Can you see an amperage rating on it anywhere which would give you an idea what it should be drawing? It's possible the jack screw/gear is damaged too which would cause the motor to have to work too hard for standard use which might overdraw it's power circuit.

  • Sidewind A-Frame Trailer Jack that Can Have Handle Orientated on Front of Jack
We have a really great trailer jack replacement for what you have with the etrailer Sidewind Jack part # TJA-5000S-B. • Replacement Jack for a 2007 Nu Camp Tab 320 Trailer
Yes, we do Larry. The newer Tab 320's come with a jack similar to our Round A-Frame Trailer Jack item # TJA-5000S-B. This attaches to the a-frame mounting bolt pattern and measures 15" from the bottom of the mounting bracket to top of jack. It measures 8-3/8" when retracted and 24" when extended to give you 15-5/8" of travel. To add a wheel you can use the Ram Removable, 6" Poly Caster Assembly for 2" Jack Tube item # JC-101. • How Do Bolt-On Round Swivel Marine Jacks Mount to Trailer
The Mounting Kit # MJ-1000B-MK is a replacement part for the Round Swivel Marine Jacks # MJ-1200B and # MJ-1500B which actually mounts to the side of the frame of your trailer instead of in the hole location in your A-Frame coupler area. As long as your trailer frame is 2" to 4" tall this bracket system will work for you. If you're needing a different style that mounts in an A-Frame I recommend either the manual # TJA-5000S-B or electric # EJ-3527-BBX. These have a 2-1/4" outer diameter...

  • 5,000 lb Bulldog A-Frame Jack With Short Retracted Height
I checked and although there is not a bushing for the Bulldog Swivel Jack - Topwind # BD178101, we do have a 5,000 lb Bulldog A-frame jack with a short retracted height that is going to be exactly what you need. The Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B has a 23-3/8" retracted height and a 15" lift. You can also add a removable foot plate # JF-99 or a drop leg # JF-1005H-Z. This short retracted height should definitely resolve the issue you...

  • Replacement Jack Solution for Trailer that Needs 1-7/8 inch Diameter Tube Jack
None of the jacks we offer have tube dimensions that would be small enough to fit the bottom support plate on your trailer that is 1-7/8 inches in diameter. The best recommendation I could make would be to install a new bottom support plate like part # BD003135 so that you could use a jack like the etrailer Jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced. For a foot plate you would want part # JF-99.

  • Can I Install the Square A-Frame Jack w/ Footplate e74VV in a Round A-Frame Hole?
Probably not unless you want to cut that round hole into a 2-1/4" square. The Square A-Frame Jack w/ Footplate item # e74VV is designed for a-frame trailer's that have a square cut out not the standard 2-1/4" circular cut out which I am guessing you have. A better option is going to be the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack item # TJA-5000S-B with the Drop Leg for etrailer and Ram Jacks item # JF-1005H-Z. The drop leg will add an additional 8" so this combined with the item # TJA-5000S-B would...

The Bulldog coupler part # BD44150WH301 is a really great choice for your Featherlite trailer. It'll be very reliable and easy to use so you'll really like it. Then for an a-frame jack we have the zinc coated etrailer A-Frame Round Jack # TJA-5000S-B which has a 5,000 lb capacity. • Replacement A-Frame Trailer Tongue Jack For a Jayco Baja Pop Up Camper
First you are going to want to check the diameter of the opening on your Jayco Baja pop up camper. I have seen several times the round hole is only going to allow for a 2" diameter Jack # DL22530. Otherwise we do have the more common 2-1/4" Jack # TJA-5000S-B like you found. While these jacks do only have a 15" or 15-5/8" extension they do hang a bit lower than your current jack. Also you can use the Flip Foot # FA88-00-4500 on the 2-1/4" jack to quickly gain another 4" of height. Personally...

  • Replacement Jack for Atwood 81911 Trailer Coupler
The tongue weight capacity of your trailer coupler is not really needed when choosing a replacement tongue jack. The replacement tongue jack just needs to be rated for the tongue weight of the trailer which is around 10-15% of the total weight. That said, I see it says the max weight capacity that can be used for a trailer jack is 5,000 lbs so if you wanted to be covered without worrying about how much your trailer weighs exactly you can just go with the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack part...
