Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Video Transcript for Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Honda CR-V - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2011 Honda CR-V, we're going to install the draw tight hitch, part number 75547. This is what the hitch will look like once it's installed. Here are few measurements that will assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is three inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is fifteen inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier.

Now let's go ahead with the installation. Before we can install our hitch, we're going to need to lower the vehicle exhaust. To do this, we're going to remove the two rubber isolators holding the muffler. To remove the rubber isolators, we'll spray each one with a little spray lubricant; this will help with the removal and re-installation. Then you can take a pry bar or pliers and remove the inside isolator and then the outside isolator.

All right, now we can go ahead and point out the attachment points. We've got a total of four attachment points in the frame on each side. This will be weld nuts. Before we begin installing our fasteners, we'll need to clean them out first using some spray lubricant and a nylon toothbrush, part number 814092. I also recommend to take one of your new fasteners which will be our fastener for the hitch, a 10 millimeter bolt and thread it into the weld nut just to make sure they go nice and easily.

Now with all the weld nuts cleaned out, it's a good idea to get extra set of hands to help you hold the hitch in place while you install your fasteners. Again we'll be using the 10 millimeter bolts along with the counter pole tube washers with the teeth of the washer facing the hitch. We have one additional attachment point which is the tow hook. Then we'll be installing the U-bolt in after you get your frame fasteners in place. Our fasteners for the U-bolt will be a flat washer, lock washer and nut.

First, we'll put on the flat washer then the lock washer, and then nut. We'll do this on both sides of the U-bolt. Now we're ready to go ahead and tighten down all of our fasteners. Keep in mind when tightening down the U-bolt fastener that you do each side as evenly as possible. All right, now with all our fastener tightened down, we'll go ahead and toward the specifications as indicated in the instructions. Now with all our fasteners towards the specifications, we can go ahead and re-install the exhaust. And with our exhaust re-installed, that'll complete the installation of our draw tight hitch part number 75547 on our 2011 Honda CR-V.

This entire experience was great. First it was easy to find the right hitch (75547) for my 2007 Honda CRV on the website, then the installation video gave me a realistic idea of what it was going to take for me to install it. When I ordered the hitch came quickly. The installation process went exactly like the video. Using the spray lubricant on the rubber muffler mounts was a great tip. Be sure to use a torque wrench (I had to borrow a friend's). I was amazed how much more I had to tighten the bolts before the torque wrench "clicked." Now my wife and I can load our bikes on our new "trailer hitch" mounted bike rack without muscling them up on the roof the way we've been doing for 20 years! The only negative was that one arm of the hitch punched through the shipping box it arrived in. I was worried some of the hardware might have fallen out. Turns out all the hardware is taped inside the 2" hitch opening before shipment, so everything was there. Thanks. 435249

2008 Honda CR-V

Due to some changes we made to our vehicle lineup, I had the need to install a hitch on my 2008 Honda CR-V. After getting a quote of $765 + tax from my local Honda mechanic, and not being willing to trust U-haul with my car's electrical system, I turned to the internet for other options. I came across the installation video for this hitch, so I decided it was worth a try. Parts arrived quickly, and I was able to install everything in an afternoon. Only difficult part was the pre-existing weld nuts were a mess from five Wisconsin winters, so I did need to use a thread tap to clean them out. Once this was complete, I was able to finish the entire project (including wiring) in about an hour. Who can argue with saving over $500 and having the reward of completing the project yourself? I plan on having all of the bolts checked at my next oil change just to be sure, but I am confident everything is installed properly. I will definitely recommend the folks at etrailer to anyone I know of who's looking for a hitch and doesn't mind doing the work themselves. Heck, even if you paid your mechanic to install the parts, you'd still be saving big. Thanks for a great experience! 89980

We recently purchased a trailer hitch for our 2011 Honda CRV. The hitch we purchased from etrailer.com is well built / very substantial unit and was a breeze to install. The only thing is when it arrived, one of the hitch ends broke through the end of the box and was not protected. Thankfully the hitch end wasn't damaged. I highly recommend this product and purchasing through etrailer.com 154483

Good deal, etrailer got my hitch to me ahead of schedule. It was carefully packaged in a box that kept the hitch from any incidental damage from the courier and had hand cutouts on opposite sides to optimize moving it. I love packaging done correctly! As for the install, this is the second hitch I installed myself, it took a bit longer than I expected, though this is no fault of the hitch more the vehicle itself. The threaded inserts, or nuts welded to the frame to receive the hitch install bolts were dirty and and had a bit of rust in them, to be expected in a 3yr old vehicle with 30k on it. I chased the threads with a lightly oiled tap a couple times to remove the debris and after that the install went very smooth. Hitch seems very well built, expect many years of use from it. 121184

my crv manual says trailer towingvrafe is 1500 ponds maximumcan you tow the 3000pounds Trailer on the tounge weight up to 500 pounds on this hitch specs with your 2010ctv ???do you have a load equalizer component, and trailers brakes ?i naively thought that 1500was max trailer my 2010 CRV would able to haul. Thanks for yor kind replySteve Connor Cobourg Canada

The 87440 hitch has a capacity of 3,500 pounds total trailer weight and 525 pounds tongue weight. Your CR-V may be less, and if that is the case, that is the weight rating you should abide by. A load equalizer or weight distribution should not be used with this hitch, Hidden Hitch specifies that it is not rated for WD systems. I looked up a 2010 CR-V manual, and your initial thoughts are correct. It is limited to 1,500 pounds total trailer weight. Tongue weight should be about 10-15% of the total weight, which the hitch can certainly handle.

Received in two days as you said. The installation was easy except that the two side bolts of the hitch would not reach each side of the CRV. The hitch was about 1/2 inch shy in length of reaching to connect the opposite side. We took the hitch off and used a block and sledge hammer to widen where the screws would fit. No big problem, but might be for someone that would not think of doing that. The only other problem was connection the inside muffler fastener on the CRV as there was no room as the hitch was in the way. We got it partially connected and when I had the vehicle serviced at the Honda dealership they connected the inside of the muffler properly at no charge. However, even with those problems, I was saved a considerable amount of money by doing it myself rather than pay the dealership or any other place of business to purchase and install the same hitch. To save yourself questions regarding the width of the hitch, I would remeasure the distance between both sides to make sure your dimensions are the same as the CRV. Also, the inside muffler connection part of the hitch was too small of an opening to reach the matching part of the vehicle. 23899

Hitch was received in a couple of days of ordering. Out side carton was slightly damaged but no big deal. Viewed installation video several times. Very easy to install, only problem I had was when I attached the driver's side screw I had to get an assist from my wife (we're both 77 yrs old) to stabilize, NOT hold up, the hitch because it was leaning on the muffler which I had previously braced. I was afraid to break the exhaust pipe on the engine side of the muffler. I then attached the middle U bolt and my wife was done. I then bolted the passenger side, tightened all the bolts put the muffler back in place and was done. Two hrs start to finish...... 441872

One warning before you buy this: Make sure your weld nuts are thoroughly cleaned and you can thread a 3/8" bolt into them easily. They warn in the instructions that this might be an issue. You will save a significant amount of install time if you do this before the tow hitch arrives. I spent around 6 hours cleaning the weld nuts with Blaster and scraping out the gunk with steel wool and a small wire brush. Once this was done, the installation was pretty easy, but I still had trouble getting the bolts screwed it because the weld nuts were still a little dirty. Another tip: make sure you have a long extension for the wrench, one that will reach below the bumper of the car. This will make screwing the bolts in much easier. There isn't much room to turn the wrench while its up under the vehicle and if you run into sticky bolts like I did, you will be able to use a longer wrench or a pipe to get more leverage on the bolts and screw them in easier. This hitch uses the two weld nuts closest to the bumper. This is the case for both the drivers side and the passenger side. Overall, a great product. I just finished installing this along with the wiring and I was able to take my small 10ft boat to the lake. No problems or issues whatsoever. 293696

I ordered a trailer hitch from this company and I was pleased with how fast it got to me. However, their packaging was horrible. No protective wrapping on the hitch itself, they just dropped it in a box and shipped it. When I received it part of the hitch was actually protruding out of the box. I opened it up to find several areas of the hitch where the black paint was rubbed off. I understand a few scuffs, but bare metal was actually showing. A lot of reviews on here talk about how great their customer service is, but I had no such luck. First, I was on hold for over 10 minutes. Then, the woman I spoke to said they could do nothing for paint issues......but it's a brand new item though? I shouldn't have to touch up paint on a piece that hasn't even been on my vehicle. I explained this to her very politely, and she than offered a credit. Nope, wasn't having that. So she asked me to send pictures which I said of course to. I tried sending pictures, only to get an email back saying they have a 5Mb limit on emails. So I had to resize the images (twice) before they could view them. The rest of the email correspondence was short, confusing, and lacked so many details I had to keep emailing back with questions. Finally I tried calling the person directly but was not able to get a hold of her. I called their 800 number and spoke to someone else. She told me a new one would be shipped to me as a 'courtesy', and I would have to send the original back. Thanks for the 'courtesy' of replacing my damaged item. Luckily, they at least paid for shipping. But I still had to repackage it and drive it to UPS. I love the product, but am so disappointed with their shipping policies and customer service! 422658

I could not be more pleased with this trailer hitch! All the necessary hardware was included, the directions were concise but sufficient, and the installation went without a hitch, because that hitch is now securely attached to my Honda CR-V. The trickiest part was figuring out for the first time how to remove the exhaust pipe from its hangers, but some WD-40 and a flathead screwdriver for leverage worked just fine. If you have someone else around to help hold it in place while threading the bolts, it'll be easier. I managed to prop the hitch up and rest it on my legs while fastening it, and I'm none worse for the wear. I'm stoked to once again be able to use my bike rack and hit the trails! 454437

Its worked without a single issue over the past year. The ultimate test was when I had to have my CR-V towed out of a garage a few straps connected from the hitch to a Jeep did the trick, no problems. Theres a little bit of rust forming on some parts of it, thanks to the winter weather, but its purely cosmetic.

This unit was fitted in 30 minutes flat. I watched the installation video on line and refined the operation as I was working alone. I put on the U-bolts first and left it loose so I could position the 4 main holding bolts. It worked a charm. It fitted perfectly and is definitely a sturdy tow-hitch that will serve faithfully for the duration of the car. 90257

Hitch installed but wish I had seen the bolt hole videos on this page. I'm a car hobbiest with a lift and air tools and it took me about 2 hours. But i'm in my 50's and don't work as fast as I used to. The bolts were well rusted after 4 years in Chicago winters and not a chance they would go in at first. Not even the 10x1.25 tap would start. Went to the local Harbor Tools and bought a set of wire "bottle" brushes, cut off the end and put them in a drill and spun them in the holes at high speed. Relized the WD40 I put in the first hole was a mistake since it killed the abrasive effect so it took longer, but after about 5 minutes and a new brush per hole, was able to get a bolt to catch. Was then able to use a 3/8 air ratchet to slowly go a few turns, then back it out and do more wire brush so it would go in farther. Used a seperate bolt so I wouldn't risk damaging the threads on the supplied ones. Had to be very careful to avoid cross threading since it took almost as much force as if that was what was happenning. Not sure what I would have done without air tools and the lift but again, I'm not young anymore. Once the threads were cleared, thngs went easily, although it was a bit heavy for my wife to hold up while I bolted it in. Tip: do the ubolt first so It can take the weight. 19204

The Hitch is sturdy, and tows well, but the receiver is not straight. I noticed this when I bought it, but decided not to return because I was in a time crunch. I mostly notice this when I use my tray style bike rack. The entire bike rack is skewed about 5 degrees, which is not unsafe, but certainly not ideal. I would be hesitant to buy another hitch from the same manufacturer because of this defect. 714376

I never had an issue with anything, but trying to install my new muffler. The trailer hitch did get in the way. Other than that [two thumbs up]! Whats helped out the most is we moved and at my new place I've been able to haul a lot of cut brush out of out yard. It's mostly used to put deer( during deer season) on my back rack. Another cool thing we did was, we got an old entertainment center out of the peremises with it. 703845

It fit my 2010 Honda CRV perfectly. The etrailer installation videos were very helpful. I couldn't get the hitch receiver bolts to start in the frame weld nuts even after repeated spraying with penetrating oil and scrubbing with a nylon brush. I was about to give up. I checked e-trailer again and I found a video for cleaning corroded weld nuts with a battery terminal wire brush. I was skeptical it would work but after careful twisting in the weld nuts I was able to clean the weld nuts without damaging the threads. Great tip! 700189

Well made, good looking hitch that was very easy to install. Total time to install was about an hour. The package containing the hitch was damaged however the contents were complete and showed no signs of damage. I accomplished the installation alone after viewing the installation video on etrailer's website. This hitch was being installed on a 2007 CRV. I cleaned all four chassis nuts to ensure that I was not going to run into problems while lifting 30 pounds of hitch . All mounting holes lined up well and there were no problems encountered during the installation. I did have the rear of the CRV up on ramps to provide additional clearance. Lubricating the rubber isolators holding the muffler worked well to allow the muffler to be lowered. I placed blocks of wood under the center of the hitch to help hold it roughly in place during the installation of the first bolt on each side. The four mounting bolts were not tightened down until I ensured that the hitch was centered. The four mounting bolts were then tightened down to the specified torque. 38 inch pounds is a fair amount of torque in a confined area. Overall, a very straight forward installation and a nice looking and sturdy hitch. I also used the etrailer wiring bundle that simply plugged into the CRV. This is not the first time that etrailer has served me well. 675113

The hitch and wiring harness fit perfectly with relative ease. My only recommendation is if your car is more than a year old buy a thread tap and clean the holes as the weld-nuts rust and need to be really well cleaned and opened. I installed this on my daughters car so that we can install a platform lift for her motorized chair. I highly recommend this companies products 667078

The product is great. This was a few dollars more than the big box website; however, the etrailer video was spot on and made spending a few bucks extra worth supporting service like this. It got 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the nuts for the "U-Bolt" was the wrong size. Luckily I dug through my extras can in garage and was able to find a nut. Absolutely not etrailer's fault. But i could imagine that if you didn't have a spare nut then this could bum you out, having to run to hardware store. After watching 5 minute video (twice) the install was a dream and took about 30 min (including getting tools out, finding replacement nut and cleaning up). Bike rack is on car and off we go this weekend! 661131

Great product. Bought two. They each came in a box, the boxes were broken. They are very heavy, well made. No damage. Everything was there and they were easy to install. The 07 Honda was hardest as some of the threaded holes needed chasing due to rust. My only regret is that I can’t find a harness that permanently mounts to the hitch so I don’t have to fish wires out to hook up the trailer. 639713

So far so good. Only used it once or twice to tow a rental trailer with my Honda CR-V. Toughest challenge installing it is chasing the rusted weldnuts on the CRV chassis. Must do to install the mounting bolts. I bought an inexpensive tap online to chase the threads. The ones above the muffler are hard to get to with the tap on a tap handle. Mine was not badly rusted. Fortunately I was able to get the tap started by hand and then used a box wrench to roughly fit the square drive end of the tap to chase the threads. Make sure you only loosely get all the bolts started to maximize getting all the holes aligned. My only complaint is that, when installed, it is not level side to side and it is fairly noticeable. The hitch could be packed a bit better, the extremities should be wrapped to avoid scratches. I ended up spray painting it to give it an extra coat of paint and to cover the scratches. 634741

I recently purchased a hitch for my CR-V and opted to install it myself. Ordering the proper hitch was easy and it arrived a day earlier than expected. I had to re-tap the threads using an M10 tap but otherwise the installation was straightforward. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the overall experience! 633240

This is my 4th hitch from etrailer and as always a pleasurable experience. Hitch arrived on time and in great shape. It looks great on my 2009 CR-V. As far as the install goes, like many I cannot emphasize enough about reaming/brushing/cleaning out the weld nuts on the frame. If your vehicle is older and exposed to snow, salt, etc.. you would save a lot time by doing this before you plan to mount the hitch. Took me 2 hours to clean out the weld nuts and only 15 minutes to install the hitch. In the end you will have a great looking, super sturdy hitch. 629656

The installation video was great! For 2009 Honda CRV, should note that to remove the inner muffler holder, one should pry the rubber off the stem attached TO THE muffler. I installed the hitch by myself without jacking up the car, I used wood blocks to raise it high enough for install. It was real easy! The hitch itself appeared well made. I did not do the electrical stuff since I won't be towing anything with this car. 616472

Ask the Experts about this Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch

Do you have a question about this Trailer Hitch?

  • Difference Between Square and Round Tube Trailer Hitches for 2010 Honda CR-V
  • There are both Class I and Class III trailer hitches available that are confirmed to fit your 2010 Honda CR-V. The available Class I hitches, such as the Draw-Tite Sport Frame # 24792, feature a square tube design, while the Class III hitches like the Draw-Tite # 75547 have a round crosstube. This crosstube shape may appear to indicate the hitch's strength, as they differ between the two classes, but the design is typically only relevant to the physical appearance of the hitch. A round...

  • Hidden Hitch With 2 Inch Receiver for 2009 Honda CR-V
  • We have the exact part you need, though it is just under a different name. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75547 is simply the Hidden Hitch 87440 with a different name; this is a Class III, 2-inch hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Honda CR-V. It is a complete bolt-on installation that does not require any drilling into your CR-V's frame; I've added a link to a video of this hitch being installed on a '09 CR-V for you to take a look at. To add a 4-way to power your trailer's lights...

  • How to Install a 7-Way on a 2011 Honda CR-V for Charging a Trailer Battery
  • Absolutely! For your 2011 Honda CR-V I first recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118427 which is completely plug and play. You can see this process in the attached install video. Then in order to convert this 4-way into a 7-way I recommend using the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185 because it has a mounting bracket and both 4 and 7-way trailer connection points. The only two wires you will want to attach on the 4 to 7-way adapter is the ground...

  • Towing Capacity for 2007 Honda CR-V
  • I looked up the towing capacity for your 2007 Honda CR-V and it looks to be 1,500 lbs as the max capacity for the vehicle. I'm not sure if your trailer would weigh less than that but we do have everything you'd need to tow a trailer with your vehicle. For a hitch the Draw Tite # 75547 would be a great option. It has a 2 inch hitch opening and installs easily. See install video. Then for trailer wiring you'd want the T-One kit part # 118427 which is also a confirmed fit. This is our most...

  • Can a 2007 Honda CR-V Tow a 15 Foot Bass Boat Trailer
  • A weight distribution system is a device that is installed on a trailer and uses leverage to transfer the weight of the load across the entire towing setup. It's in addition to a trailer hitch and is optional for towing, although sometimes highly recommended. The trailer hitch receivers designed for your 2007 Honda CR-V are not rated with a weight distribution system, therefore you don't have the option of using one. But you can still tow a trailer. I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75547...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2011 Honda CR-V
  • To best accommodate your Yakima Swing out Bike Rack on your 2011 Honda CR-V, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75547. This hitch is a confirmed fit for your vehicle and is an easy bolt on installation. It has round tube design with a black powder coat finish over an e-coat base for superior rust protection.

  • RockyMount MonoRail 2 Platform Rack for 2009 Honda CR-V
  • A hitch adapter like the Brophy Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" # HTAD allows you to use the 2" shank on the RockyMounts MonoRail 2 # RKY10004 on the 1-1/4" on your 2009 Honda CR-V, but using a hitch adapter of any type reduces the tongue weight on your hitch by 50%. You'll need to check your owner's manual to confirm but you likely have a Class I hitch with a 200-lb tongue weight, so using an adapter will only allow you to carry 100-lbs total safely on the hitch. Since the RockyMounts MonoRail...

I recommend you upgrade to the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 inch # 75547 that will give you a much greater capacity as well as many more accessory options. • Recommendation For 4 Bike Rack on 2011 Honda CRV That Will Allow Access to Rear Cargo Area
  • A bike rack is not a permanent attachment to a vehicle. For 4 bikes you will need a hitch bike rack that will have a shank that will insert into a Class III 2-inch trailer hitch on the rear of your vehicle. This will allow the bike rack to be removed when not being used. The trailer hitch on your vehicle is attached to the frame of your CRV and the load of the 4 bikes on the hitch will be supported by your vehicles frame. • Will Hitch From 2011 Honda CR-V fit 2016 Model
  • For your 2016 Honda CR-V, I'd recommend the # Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75742. For a trailer wiring harness, if needed, use the Tow Ready # 118561. Unfortunately, the 2011 model was the last year of the 3rd generation of the CR-V models, and your 2016 model is of the 4th generation. There are enough significant differences in the rear undercarriage of the 3rd and 4th generations that your Hidden Hitch from your 2011 model won't work on your 2016, I'm sorry to say. • If you care to go with the trunk mounted bike rack, I would recommend the Yakima FullBack Trunk Mount Bike Rack which is available for 2 bikes # Y02634 or 3 bikes # Y02633. I really like this rack because of its 4 strap design, which is easier to install than traditional 6 strap designs. • Carrying More Than 2 Bikes with Class I Hitch on 2010 Honda CR-V
  • The hitch and bike rack manufacturers all agree that a bike rack installed in a Class I receiver should be limited to two bikes. The weight is not the only issue, any additional bikes added will put the load of the rack and the bikes further away from the receiver opening. As this distance increases, so does the leverage applied to the hitch and its attachment points to the vehicle. This leverage can bend and eventually break the hitch or cause the hitch attachment points to the vehicle...

  • Why are There Two Different Size Holes on the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch for 2009 Honda CR-V
  • The Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch, # 75547, that you have on your 2009 Honda CR-V will use the 5/8 inch hole to secure hitch mounted accessories or ball mounts to the trailer hitch. The smaller hole is designed for the J-Pin Stabilization Pin, # 63201, and is not intended to be a hitch pin hole. • Recommended Bike Rack for a 2011 Honda CR-V With Factory Roof Rack and Factory Rear Spoiler
  • It looks like a trailer hitch and hitch mounted bike rack are going to be the best way for you to carry three bikes on your 2011 Honda CR-V. I would not recommend using a trunk mounted bike rack because it could damage your spoiler. The top hooks of trunk mounted bike racks must secure to the top edge of the door which means they would have to go over your spoiler. Vehicle spoilers are not meant to handle a load of any kind and with the weight of the bike rack and bikes it could bend...

  • The Right Bike Rack for a Class I Hitch on a 2007 Honda CR-V

Also, Class I receivers physically will not except a higher class item. They are not designed to fit together. You could install a Class III hitch such as the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75547. • Interchangeable Trailer Hitch Bike Rack for a 2010 Honda CR-V and a 2013 Toyota RAV4
  • Your best compatibility is going to be if both your 2013 Toyota RAV 4 and 2010 Honda CR-V have Class III trailer hitches, as this allows access to the widest range of bike racks to transfer between the two vehicles. Picking a rack for multiple vehicles does have a few extra considerations, the weight and classes of the two vehicle's hitches. For this situation, I tend to recommend the Saris racks, as they tend to be extremely strong, lightweight racks that are easy to pick up and...

  • Maximum Towing Capacity for a 2011 Honda CRV

I wouldn't recommend towing a 16 foot Casita travel trailer weighing 2100-2385 pounds if the capacity turns out to be 1500 pounds which is what it is for United States spec models. So if you install a Class III hitch like the Draw Tite part # 75547 and then install a folding cargo carrier in it like the Curt # C18153 you'd need to subtract the weight of the carrier from the tongue weight capacity to determine how much you could carry in the carrier.
