Class III Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2009 Honda CRV EX-L
Updated 06/04/2018 | Published 06/01/2018 >
Question:
Will a Reese Class 3 with 2 inch receiver fits my 2009 Honda CRV EX-L? Or if not, what type of trailer hitch/which trailer hitch will I need? How much does installation cost usually, and/or can someone with no mechanics skills whatsoever, and/or any hydraulics equipment do it ourselves? What tools are needed? How long does an installation typically take? Thanks.

For your 2009 Honda CR-V we have the Draw Tite trailer hitch part # 75547 which is a confirmed fit and will work well. It's a Class III, 2 inch hitch made by the same company as Reese. Install of this hitch is pretty simple if you have basic tools and mechanical skills. I attached an install video for this hitch on a 2009 CR-V just like yours for you to check out.
Install would be about 40 minutes and the wrench sizes needed are 17 mm and 11/16 inch.
