When you just need to move small loads, this hitch gets it done. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 1,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 150 lbs, making it ideal for light trailers or small cargo carriers. The sturdy, square-tube design gives you dependable strength for towing or mounting accessories like bike racks or storage trays without adding unnecessary bulk.
This receiver is made from fully welded steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer to resist rust and corrosion. The combination of robotic welding for precision and that tough coating means you get a durable hitch that holds up against weather, road grime, and years of use.
No welding or drilling needed. The hitch installs using existing mounting points with the included hardware kit and detailed instructions. It’s designed for a clean, custom fit that lines up directly with the frame, letting you get the job done in your own driveway using common hand tools.
Whether you’re adding a drawbar for towing or loading up a bike rack for weekend rides, this 1-1/4" receiver is compatible with most light-duty accessories. The setup supports common add-ons like pins and clips (sold separately) so you can easily switch between towing and carrying gear when needed.

It has been a year. The hitch has been working great. Bolts have not gotten loose. No rust and it still looks as new.

I have used the hitch with 200lbs cargo tray to carry numerous things. I have also towed my 1200lbs capacity HFT trailer at its full capacity up to 30 miles per trip several times.

After a year of use, the hitch works well. The hitch is used on my Infiniti EX-35 to carry a Thule platform bike rack. Its very stable, Im pleased with it.

If possible, backing the vehicle up onto ramps is really the way to go here. Its also important that the front wheels are chocked while the vehicle is up on ramps. Once this is done, there is plenty of access.

Its been a year now, I have pulled a couple of ATVs about 2500 miles with no issues. I checked the screws at the end of the season and all were still right. The hitch is working well for me.

Was the hole misalignment sited in this review an anomaly or has etrailer addressed and corrected the problem?

Has worked out fine. Major take away is to use the strap. I’ve used the hitch without a strap once or twice and have experienced excessive swinging. The strap eliminates the problem.

Dang, I’m really sorry to hear your install didn’t go as smoothly as it should have, Matthew. I know that can be frustrating. I wanted to pass along some info that might help with the muffler rattling against your hitch. Check out the link when you get a chance, and let me know if any of the solutions work for you.
