Hitch Installed on 2016 Infiniti QX60 Rattling on Exhaust

Question:
Hello! Today, I had the C11510 hitch installed on my 2016 Infiniti QX50. When I drove away, I immediately heard the sound of metal on metal clanking every time I hit a bump. It was the exhaust pipe on the right side hitting the hitch bar. Is there a way to remedy this? Also, is this the only hitch that will work for my vehicle? Thanks so much for your help!

What you describe is a fairly common occurrence. Because the # C11510 hitch mounts to fixed mounting points on your 2016 Infiniti QX50, that hitch is going to sit in the same exact spot on every US Market 2016 Infiniti QX50. However, because the exhaust system uses flexible rubber isolators and easily bendable exhaust hangers, the precise location of the exhaust pipe where it runs next to the hitch can vary from vehicle to vehicle, sometimes by an inch or more. Typically, fixing the problem involves nothing more than bending an exhaust hanger slightly or installing a different rubber exhaust isolator. I've linked to a help article that addresses this.
The Curt # C11510 is currently the only hitch offered for your vehicle.
