When you need to pull a small trailer, carry bikes, or mount a cargo carrier, this Curt Class I hitch gives you the connection point you need. It has a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening, a maximum gross trailer weight of 2,000 lbs, and a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs. That’s plenty for light-duty towing or hauling everyday gear. The sturdy square-tube design keeps things stable so your load tracks straight behind you.
You don’t need a shop lift or welding setup to get this hitch installed. The bolt-on design uses included hardware and fits directly to the frame with no welding required. All mounting hardware and instructions come in the box, so it’s ready for a straightforward DIY install in your own driveway.

absolutely no issues. I did have a shop install it so cant comment on the installation, but i forget its on my car unless actually using it for the bike rack, which i consider to be a good thing.

The Curt Trailer is still bolted to my Subaru and still maintains its strong integrity while pulling a motorcycle trailer on an annual 800 mile trip to and from the Blue Ridge Mountains.
