This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is rated for 2,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 200 lbs maximum tongue weight. It’s built for small trailers, cargo carriers, and bike racks—perfect for light-duty towing without overdoing it. The sturdy, square-tube design gives it the strength needed for daily use while keeping a clean, simple profile under the bumper.
No welding is required with this hitch. It’s designed as a custom fit with precision, robotic welding to ensure proper alignment and a secure hold. The complete hardware kit and installation instructions are included, so you can bolt it on using basic tools in your own driveway. You may just need to enlarge an access hole depending on your setup.
The hitch is made from fully welded steel and finished in a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer for superior rust resistance. That coating helps guard against chips, road salt, and moisture so your hitch keeps its solid look after years of use.
The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening fits standard Class I drawbars (sold separately), pins, clips, and other light-duty towing gear. The hitch is working like the day I installed it. I’ve used it with a hitch hauler to transport push mowers, a 6x8 trailer and a bike rack. The hitch hasn’t shifted. I really like the way it hides under the rear bumper when you don’t have the drawbar installed. Great product.

Excellent, all is well - thank you so much for an excellently manufactured product. Im rechecking the torque specs after a few tow for safety and thats the reason I returned to get the PDF file to confirm the torque ratings for verification & safety!
