Excessive Noise After Installing Trailer Hitch On 2006 Honda Accord

Question:
Hi, Great shipping speed!! It took me literally 35 minutes to install the Hitch on my 2006 Honda Accord. I took the car out for a ride was not towing anything and immediately noticed a lot of rattling noise. I stopped immediately to check and the 1/2inch bolt that goes around the tow hook is not tight around the hook. Torque is good at 100 ft/lb as recommended. The hitch is floating around the tow hook. The noise inside the car with windows closed is unbearable, I cant tell what it sounds like when outside and on the road. Am I missing a part? A Dampener? All reviews on this product do not suggest having this problem.

I am not sure why there would be noise coming from the # C11327 installation concerning the tow hook on your 2006 Accord.
The installation does require the exhaust hanger removal by taking off the rubber isolators. They are installed after the hitch has been installed and the bolts have been torqued to the specifications.
It is possible that the exhaust is making contact with your hitch causing the noise you are hearing. I have attached a link to a helpful article that explains how this issue can be fixed. This is something that can be done pretty easily but if needed a shop that installs exhaust systems can take care of the problem.
