Question:
when installing on 2001 grandcherokee do you remove or retain rear most oem crossbar on frame? thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13051 will not require removing any parts of your OEM crossbar or frame. It will simply have you remove some hardware for the tank shield and then clean out a weldnut that will be utilized. The tank shield will remain in place. You may need to use some spray lubricant and a brush like # 814092 to clean the weld nut to ensure proper fit prior to installing your hitch.
