Well built hitch that is easy to install. Had an old Class 5 on my truck but it was a sore sight. This hitch hides pretty well behind the bumper and seems well made. Only little gripe was that itcame with 8.8 bolts for the rear 2 bolts to the trucks frame. Used the old 10.9 bolts that I had on the truck prior. Install only took about an hour.
Holding up great a few years later. Easy install but I had interference from my exhaust to spare tire. Had to put the spare in the bed until I get a new exhaust routing. No fault of the receiver.
The product seems solid, pretty easy installation as well. The only problem I realized was the fact of the washers. I had to make my own washers, for my own peace of mind. The ones provided, I felt like, were too small for the class of weight it's rated for. Other than that, would recommend to others. Delivery was fast too!

Still working good, honestly hope the washer issue was fixed so future customers wont need to make their own.

I replaced factory hitch because it wasn't rated for the gvw of my trailer. Great price and the highest gvw I could find.

Great! Finish is still good, I’ve pulled my trailer quite often since installing and it’s not showing any wear.
Excellent fit, finish and quality 8.9 fasteners. Appears to be an upgrade from the factory Class IV hitch, as it mounts slightly forward of the original hitch, bypassing the bolt on frame ear extensions.
Great product and was easy to install.
Have used e-Trailer many times. They filled the order quickly. Installed this on my 1989 GMC C3500 Dually replacing the OEM 4K/400 with this unit 16K/1600. This unit is overkill but B&W makes the best hitches out there. Very HD and like how they put the tang on there to bolt up the 7-pin. I installed loosely the side-plates, then use a jack to assist with the receiver. Bolted right up and no drilling. I took my time (3 hrs) including removing OEM and properly torquing.
Great product!!! Replaced old class IV hitch with this new one. Everything was as described, it bolted up on original holes on 97 Z71. Looks good.

I messed up my order from following a third party site to purchase a trailer hitch from this company,needless to say it was the wrong part. Arrived quickly. Very easy to install. Is working great. So far, a perfect purchase.

Took longer to take the old one off than install this unit. Like the 3 piece design; loosely installed both outside brackets than inserted the center. Around 30 minutes install time. Design and quality seem to be excellent; all bolts aligned with out any re- work.

The trailer hitch is great. I was worried about the 3 piece installation at first, but very happy with it after installation. My first concern was it carrying the load on only the eight connecting bolts between the crossbar and rails, but that isn't the case. The bolts only hold the pieces together. The square crossbar actually fits into square holes on the side rails so the shear is actually transferred directly by the frame pieces. Additionally the 3 piece installation made handling the weight of the hitch during installation a non factor.
My only complaint is minor and is with the hardware. It only came with 12 of the 1/2 x 13 nuts. I needed 14. The instructions show the vehicle having 2 already in the truck frame. My truck did not not so I had to get two more. Not a huge problem, but it would have been nice to have 14 provided.
The fit is great. It tucks up behind the bumper perfectly. I can't hardly see it except the receiver, chain loops, and 7 pole plug. The parts are sturdy enough I'll never have to worry about whether the hitch can handle the load hooked to it.

Great product. The B and W HD tube hitch is being mounted on the same truck I have a 15 year old B and W goose neck hitch on that still looks like new and has always worked great. I know the rear hitch will be a great addition to my dually.
We have had the hitch for a year. The hitch is rock solid and is a great product. etrailer's was great to work with. I would not hesitate to order products from them again!
Great product, instructions were good , but not perfect, hardware was included and none was missing, but I still had to use 2 of my own washers because B&W must be unaware of some vehicle variations
product fitted perfect and just as advertised. I never have any issue with etrailer.
Hitch fits great, no drilling required. Had the hitch installed with help from my youngsters in about 45 minutes. We were taking our time.
Had this Hitch for a year. Have towed very heavy loads of wood out of the mountains with it, on very rough roads. It has held up very well.

Your truck looks fantastic, Neil! I had to mention that first. It's interesting to learn that your trucks factory bolts were a 10.9. I know grade 8 is pretty much the standard now a days. Still find it interesting though! Thanks for sharing that :)
